I've seen a few other posts recently on this, and today, my account was banned for the same reason. The only program i could even possibly see causing this would be curse, I really need an explanation as my account has just been perma banned, no warnings no nothing. A quick look at my match histroy, and it is CLEAR i am not scripting, please, this needs to be lifted riot.

^ that right there is probably what did it. What add ons do you use in curse? and don't say none cause you already said this could be causing the problem.

The third party app is located and caught when riot data mines and sees another app running in the back ground of the LoL client. that's how its caught but again it can be any thing from a DPS gauge to a Timer keeper, to just a simple visual Aesthetics .

Everyone has 3rd party programs installed.
Got Isboxer, Tiny Task, Auto Hotkey, Logitech g910's Macro Software, Scripting software have yet to get banned...
But everything on a persons computer including Team Speak, and Curse is 3rd party... ** Question is why all the threads about people getting banned and whats triggering them are they legit claims?**
I am also using curse & Overwolf we see if I get banned ill file an appeal because I am clean <3.

Fluffertons Fury2 votesSame thing happened to me. The only thing I use is curse voice. All my friends use it too, none of them have been banned. I have nothing else on my computer that has anything to do with league, never have. This is a flaw on their end.
TheFallenShaw2 votesWell in riots defence they say no 3rd party programs. Curse and what ever the other one is a 3rd party program. It also creates a disadvantage against other people not using it. So yeah its a form of cheating. Minor one but cheating is cheating. And anyone cheating deserves permaban
lowfat yogurt7 votesYou're forgetting the part where Riot cleared up the issues with Curse previously and later said that it's OK to use. While it's still possible a Curse update might have conflicted with the detection system and marked multiple accounts for it, Riot did say it was OK.

ITs valid it sucks but its valid..
SO if you use Curse for the chat, Or for a Timer, add on, Or a UI aesthetics look or any thing DOESNT have to be cheating then yea you got popped for it.
