I was recently chat restricted after the following game. The only thing that I told the team the entire game was to relax, its was a normal, don't worry, and its all good.

I really wish I had a chat log to post because I was being flamed the entire game to which I brushed everything off. I didn't use profane language, nor did I break any rule of conduct after reviewing them extensively

The only thing that I could think of was repeating in all chat that the Trynd was so mad he told me "kys."

I wasn't a dick, flaming, or negative in any manor. I am just trying to escape the hell that is leveling to 30 in LoL. I've had a few accounts banned that I put a many of hours into and realize that responding to children who are past their bedtime simply isn't worthwhile.

Please someone take a look at this and address my concern appropriately. It's only 10 games, but it hinders my experience that I feel is in error.

If you log into the client, it should give you chat logs. If you don't post them, the community can't give feedback.

  1. I wouldn't parrot kys and other zero tolerance words m8, because people have gotten 14 day bans for doing that. You are lucky you only got a chat restriction.
  2. If people are being toxic, doing score comparisons is not going to get them to stop being toxic m8. Either it shows that they got to you, encouraging them to rustle your jimmies more, or it makes you look like a toxic player who is ruining the game, who they need to rage at or report to get them to stop.
  3. If you say that you are going to report someone or that someone is going to be banned, don't be surprised if they report you in response unless it is very clear why someone needs to be reported. If they don't think they did anything wrong, it makes it look like you are the one who needs to be "reported", because you are harassing them. Wait for riot to give them a penalty, which is a much clearer signal. Since it only takes one report in a game to flag someone, you don't need to ask for additional reports. Same with any variant of "Enjoy your ban". Surprisingly ironic when it comes up.
  4. Riot bans players who are jerks, which is not the same as players who say lots of profane statements.
  5. The "other players were worse" excuse will not garner any sympathy. You are responsible for your behavior. Same with the minimizing and distorting the truth of what you did.

yep, that's not fair , you are one the lucky ones though. I'm currently 6 days through a 14 day ban for the same reason . I opened a ticket on the day no response..
