Well this is my story...I have been playing for years now..I must admit I was sometimes frustrated and irritated from the competitive aspects of the game and received fairly in my opinion some punishments regarding my account. So i did receive my 14 days ban MONTHS AGO maybe more than half a year.I stopped playing LoL regularly after that and only played occasionally (2-3 times a month) so the season ended i had put on my belt over 30-50 games under my belt without any problems, i was still waiting to be able to receive my crates etc which i was not entitled to any more due to my past behavior, understandable i was just patient and kept playin responsible..

So we come to the present day, a month passed didnt play a single match, i log in and i play my first game today after a month of absence, 2 ''prem8s'' decide to go together top to feed one of them afked after a few minutes, mid was struggling and my bot was just me, no adc just a Renekton afking too...so i try to keep my cool just another REGULAR DAY IN LOL COMMUNITY,,

Then Rene decides to join after i been soloing bot lane on my own with my support, he feeds 3-4 kills and i tried to tell them ''LOOK you level 1 they level 5 stop feeding''' he started calling me names blaming...I did the mistake of loosin my cool but imagine i ended the match 3/4/2 and rene had 11 deaths out of our 33 in total team deaths, the 2 top players were trolling so i said some bad words while confronting him...

The match ends, i get out and i receive a key fragment for my ''recent good behavior'' and then instantly ''sorry you been perma banned'' like a sick joke....what i am trying to say is that Riot only cares about bad words i dont think people ruining the game with their trolling get any punishment a tol and secondly dont believe what they re saying i did everything i could for over 6 months to improve my accounts status had a long streak of good behavior games over a long duration and i got no reward for it, didnt go a step back in the punishment system,....but i am a liar i did got rewarded i forgot i got a key fragment 1 second before i got my perma ban....thanks for NOTHING RIOT i was the only player actually PLAYING in that match and not trolling around...time and money wasted ....my advice after YEARS of playing this game and seeing the community? - - - avoid it like the plague

(This is not a cry out for reversing my perma ban since i m DONE with this game, dont need people tellin me ''you should create a new account bla bla bla'' no thanks...this is just to pin point out some of the flaws of the current system)

P.S (edit) October 26, 2016 thats when i got my last punishment which was a 14 days ban....and my last match after my last match was 2 months ago..

(edit 2) I was able to achieve a Honor Level 2 after my last punishment until my perma ban

Alright, let's just stop this whole discussion here..

OP (Smooth Nol), you should attempt to edit your original post to make it easier to read. Both of the other players are correct that you will get much better response and more people to read your post if you format it to make it easy to read. Right now, if I were to have to look away for a moment in the middle of reading it, it'd be very hard to find my place, and people leave if they can't go back to reading after a distraction.
Please, everyone, if you're going to offer (or reply to) a suggestion on formatting, try to do so in a nice way. There is no need for us to attack each other for things as trivial as whether someone uses paragraphs or not.

Riot doesn't care about trolls, griefers or harassing, they just have the silliest system to ban people, that's why I always say they should hire real ppl to check out ban's (not just chat restriction) I'm talking about bans to get properly executed, u just can't punish someone who get harassed the whole game and loose his cool, like RIOT U DEAL WITH HUMANS not robots who can't feel anger and frustration.

Wait they permabanned you? are you sure its not just a 2 week suspension? they've been issueing two week suspensions left and right if you hurt someones feelings. I get that theyre trynna get the community cleaned up, but a chat restriction is far more reasonable.

Permanently Banned yes my friend...and after checking it now I noticed that more than 80% of the chat logged used against me was from a game i had many many many months ago - ancient history..I mean some people might say i deserved this and i respect their opinion...but i think its kinda ridiculous none of your good behavior been taken under consideration during a long duration.... after u had your 14 days ban they re is not salvation trust me on that...

Taking a break doesn't do anything to the punishment tier that you're on.

It takes about 3-6 months of regular levels of play to drop one punishment tier. Being validly reported extends the time required.

''regular levels of play''??? do you understand my friend that was inactive just for 1 month ...and that i received my last punishment at October 26. 2016??? a YEAR AGO? and what is the appropriate amount of games? and what if i got wrongly reported in some of them by passive aggressive trolls like the ones in my thread?

There isn't a set time or number of games.

The average is "three months of fairly active playing". I've always taken that to mean 2-3 games per day 5-6 days a week at least.

Time is the larger component of it though - you can play 50 games in one day and still be escalated next offense. Again, that's not a number of games, it was just an example.

If you got your 14 day ban almost a year ago but have only played very rarely since then you wouldn't have played enough games to show reform which would have dropped you down a punishment level. You need about 3 months (Rough estimate) of actively playing and showing at bare minimum neutral behavior.

If you played as rarely as you say then you still would be on thin ice after the 14 day ban, which states that your next punishment is a permaban.

It's really not though. 50 games is probably what most people would average in a month.

It would help if you posted your unedited chat logs here. Cause there have been thousands of threads saying "I got banned for nothing" yet there is plenty in the logs that prove otherwise. Not saying you're the same as them, but without the logs we can't really say if you deserved the ban or not.

with all respect i dont think you are in a position to say how many games are enough to be rewarded or how many should people averagely play...i am not a 12 year old kid with only school in mind sorry.. + it is definitely not your place or any other players to judge if I deserved it or not, trust what i say or dont i dont mind at all..the logs will be reviewed by the riot support team since i made a ticket...not cause i believe something will change (best way scenario the people with me in that match will get banned too) just cause i am curious...bless you ...no food for the trolls sorry

I mean whenever someone is inting in my game I just mute them and report them afterwards. I never talk in chat and when I do its to tell my team to calm down if their arguing or to tell them to do something such as let baron their jg is dead or something of that nature. My advice would've been just to ignore it and play to the best of your ability.

I had it coming cause i lost my cool i guess...but a man can only take only that much of trolling harassment and people ruining their games and wasting my time on purpose without any consequences towards them...well i tried to after my 14 day ban to contain the situation but looks like the other side of the coin, the side of the trolls, is a bit brighter... maybe i ll make a new account and AFKing for 5 min before i get flagged or disconnected rejoin feed a lil bit make you flame then report you screen shot you make a ticket about you and then get you perma ban...sounds like a lot of players i met in here...guess i ll do the same just for the kicks of it...so be it

Don't ever give Riot any money. I haven't bought a skin in over 3 years, on my 10th permaban and counting. I highly prefer spending my money on new accounts as opposed to skins that I'll just just for saying "fuck you for inting" as if being mad at a troll is an unforgivable offense.

You should really try to get over justifying your actions. It's like your whole post is just you rationalizing to make yourself feel like you had a good reason to be toxic. In a game where retaliation is considered just as bad as starting a fight, your rationalizing is mere excuses and trying to pass off responsibility. In life, you have to take responsibility for your own actions. It's tough, but it's what is necessary when you reach adulthood. No one will give you a pass like when you were a little kid, because you have the intelligence to weigh risk vs reward, and you have a responsibility to follow laws in a society, much like rules in a game. So just try to get over the victim mentality in the future. It only hurts yourself, because you will get yourself in trouble for something that you've justified in your own head to excuse yourself.

i am an adult dont need any lessons from you...and if you bothered to read the whole thing at the end i write is not to whine about it or anything is to pin point out big flaws of the system due to its automation and robotic logic...this system cannot distinguish sarcasm borderline harassment or passive aggressiveness ..it just gets red flags from what the system considers ''inappropriate''wording....if a ''behavior system'' will only achieve me not even talking to my teamm8s of fear of being red flagged for something it will only achieve EVEN LESS communication within this community ..jeez if you even read the first paragraph i state clearly that i DESERVED all my past punishments.....I advice you to first read the post then understand it and then try to act like a psychoanalyst ....good day to you

Just seems like you're giving all this backstory to make the punishment look more unecessary, and hence yourself seem innocent. Thing is, you broke the rules, you got punished. YOU brought it on YOU... so why the long story about what renekton was doing and how long you've been good for? To make it seem like the system is what's wrong, not you. Yes? I know you said you deserved it, so why the long story, if not to make it seem unjust? That's what I'm saying.

But I get your point that it IS your opinion on the system, and perhaps that was pretty douchey of me to psychoanalyze and talk to you like you're a child. I'm sorry, genuinely. Sometimes I do that. Oops :/ sorry.

Its ok..i used the story to pin point out that people were purposely trolling/afking-rejoining to feed/ ruining the game/ and wasting my precious time for what? to start grieving and accusing me which i was the only player doing well soloing bot v 2 players on my own and getting kills...what the story try to show is that there is not a background check for reports...that Renekton could easily screen shot the part were i lost my cool and got me perma ban and him getting away with murder....which nothing of that would happened if he would play the damn game as it is supposed to be played with team work and understanding and not with child tantrums....it weights alot on my temper and psychological state... and just a piece of friendly advice dont think this can't happen to you, think twice before typing ANYTHING in the chat even if its a friendly advice to a player not playin their role well....peace
