Dear Rito (Draft behavior and suggestions)
There has been a few games where this has happened. A player either refused to play their secondary role or threatens to throw the game if the player/team didn't abide by their demands. However in the old Tribunal, you wouldn't see this information because it happens during the draft phase. I recently had one such incident where a player threatened the team to throw the became because he was so "tilted" if we didn't ban any of his/her specific ap carries. After the ban phase, 2 ap carries were banned by the other team and the rest of the squad didn't feel the need to use their ban on any others. He then decides to throw the game by claiming that Singed support is off meta, grabbing smite and taking camps from the jungler while leaving our ADC by his/herself. Singed claims in chat he's doing this because we didn't ban any ap carries but the other team didn't pick an ap carry. So we lost, I reported the Singed and I thought about how the Tribunal (I assume being run by Riot associates or machines) would be able to see how toxic this Singed player was since the draft started. I wished we could've left the game but none of us wanted to sacrifice any ELO and a penalty because someone threatened to troll.
My suggestions to solve this:
- Give player 1 ban
- Pre-game reporting -Riot shows draft chat as part of the Tribunal's evidence when a player is reported.
I know I may sound whiny but I have been in too many ranked games where a player threatens to do poorly if they don't get their way. I feel it's unfair for me and the other three players on this team. I would like to know how Riot would address this issue in their latest queue experiment.
