Mastery barrier before you can pick champs in ranked

I wish riot would either

make a mastery barrier you have to breach before you play a champ in ranked or
remove my ability to see my teams champion mastery in loading screen because i swear to god if i see one more asshat on my team with 0 mastery I'm gonna have a rage induced stroke

I'm legitimately curious what goes through someones thick skull when they do this zero regard for team

Unfortunately, it only applies to you, and the minimum mastery is 300k before you can play it in ranked. Oh, and because bans and other players exist, you have to earn that on 20 champions before you can queue up. Oh, and because we don't want you playing Aurelion Sol jg, you need 20 champions per role. Oh, and because top lane Rengar plays differently than jg Rengar, you have to earn that mastery in the correct role, no splashing.

Ok for one year it may suck to have someone play a champ first time champ in ranked, but it's not against the rules. Anyone can play who they want in any game mode.

Secondly, what will this mean for smurf accounts. What if you got perma banned and bought an account to jump back into ranked but the champ you main has no mastery on the account, but you actually have 350k on the champ on the old account.

You'd be surprised by how well some people play their champ with like 300 mastery points. I had a yasuo hard carry a game going like 20/4/7 with like only 1000 points into him.

Not gonna happen. Remember that Riot is running a business here, and they're not going to put up barriers to people using content that they've unlocked using fake currency, real currency, or otherwise.

Besides, haven't we all been in plenty of games where someone flashing their mastery 7 is still absoltely terrible at the game?

I have almost 1.2 million mastery on Taliyah and I would probably lose hard to most people playing 0 mastery assassins and stuff.

So, odd questions here, but bear with me, this is totally relevant;

What Mastery prerequisite would you propose, and how many Champions do you have at that Mastery Rank?

'Cause, remember, you need to own a pool of at least 12 Champions to play Ranked Twisted Treeline, and 20 Champions to play Summoner's Rift.

sounds like something that would be amazing but they'd never do it, they rely heavily on new champions being released and the idiots buying it immediately and jumping into ranked to supposedly have an advantage because new champs are busted. Riot will never do anything that costs them a cent.

You do know some people bractie champions aginst bots sometimes right? I have some that I have played plentey aginst bots just to try them out. You do not get masterie socre from that game mode. So that could be the reason why they have 0 masterie points.
