Is it wrong to spam jokes and laughs in league..?

I'm at a weird position right now, I've made countless friends in League for spamming laughs and taunts, Singed and Zed are great examples. Now I recently just got reported by my whole team for spamming the "don't worry- don- don't worry.." on Heimer in aram. Was I wrong..? Doing stuff like this is why I play League, is this a sign to quit..?

Well, rito has made it clear that saying "gg ez" is punishable because it is a form of taunting. So it follows that all of the following are also punishable:

  1. Using a champion's Taunt emote even once at any point in the game.
  2. Using a champion's Taunt skill even once at any point in the game.
  3. Spamming a champion's Laugh, Dance, Joke, Mastery, Emblem, Backing animation in a taunting manner (decided by the offended party, just like offensive language/offensive summoner's names are)

Here's the secret to becoming plat: •Main taric •Set his joke on right click •Tell your adc you cant stop doing so because your little brother effed with your league •Let them know the only way to make it stop is by winning faster

Yes. Spamming emotes and pings is punishable. From WookieeCookie (posted regarding a similar case):

I've seen this case emote spamming case before. And he fails the test. He was being a jerk.

You can see in his matches that other players ask him to stop. They even do so nicely at some points. But this player doesn't care. He doesn't care because he's being a jerk.

Is he using a feature of our game which has many legitimate purposes? Of course!

But is he abusing this legitimate feature to be a jerk? Yes. He is literally spamming the same phrase throughout the entire duration of the game.

Could other players fiddle with their sound settings to disable this? Sure.

Should we expect other players to adjust their player experience because a jerk is harassing them?

No. Never.

It's pretty annoying and you can't mute champion emotes. If they ask you to stop and you continue anyway then yes it's wrong.

If they ask you to stop maybe but I would just mute you personally.

I absolutely despise Heimer spam.

Not only because it's obnoxious, but also glitched. It can't be muted via muting the player, same with Nasus and a few others. It's stupid annoying and I usually tell people to knock it off. They usually don't listen to me and/or get fussy with me for finding it annoying. I didn't even know it was reportable.
