How can I prevent abusing in DM's?

So I was playing one game, and I played against one toxic zed main. I won my lane and said he needs a bit of improvement and he called me r%%%%%ed and even used racial slurs and homophobic word "%%%%%%". I muted him and reported him at the end but didnt get response of him getting banned. Some time he added me and he started to say pretty bad things.

don't add toxic players?

Well.... few things to say here.

  1. You knew he was toxic towards you specifically. When in doubt, dont add them if they were toxic.

  2. If that does happen, and they were NOT toxic to you in game so you didnt know until you added them..... You can still take a screen shot and send in a report ticket via the Riot support.

  3. i will repeat. dont add people who were jerks. They will continue being jerks and you will not change them. Best to let them tilt themselves by waiting for you to add them and then you dont.

  4. Dont add random people that add you especially if you just recently had a very toxic person in your game (unless you are expecting them). But good rule of thumb is dont do it anyways because it is about 9 times outta 10 some random bot trying to give you a scam site.

By not accepting friend requests from the toxic players? Pretty simple solution.

only add or accept friend request only from people you had a pleasant game or interaction with as a start

Like others have said, don't add people you dislike to your friends. Now that you have added him, block him to get him out of your friends list. (I think that is how that works).

Direct messages are considered private and voluntary by Riot, so you won't most likely be able to get anyone punished because of those. Thus: Block him to get him out of your friends list.

Well, maybe do not accept his friend request? XD

Or you know you can delete and block him as well....

...Don’t add toxic randos after a game?

Why bothering with some1 who was mean to you? xD Did you rep him? And did you block him after he dm-ed you (why even add people you don't know -.-)? If even one of the answers was yes, then there is no point in further worrying bout it. Move on.
