Report System Gives No Satisfaction

Think about the last time you reported someone for a clearly reputable offense. Did you get the notification that your report was addressed and the person was punished?

It seems like even though their offense is recorded in the chat log, they can get away with it. Even if it's a one time flame they should still get a penalty so they don't do it ever. Every reportable offense that is documented in the chat log should be punished because it's undeniable they did something toxic.

If people are punished every time they do something toxic then people will stop doing toxic things.

And the feedback for reports needs to happen. That way people know they're making a difference.

Its effective at punishing others, but it does a horrible job in showing you that it is working.

Currently you only get a notification if the game you reported them in was the game that punished them. Not while it is building a case against them. Certainly not if they are punished down the road.

Which does make people feel like you and think "the system isn't working". Riot is aware of this problem and working on a fix, but it won't be launched until the next client is up and running smoothly.

Coming on this part of the boards should tell you its working. Ive been playing for 6+ years and i think ive only seen the notification once, maybe twice. With that said i can say its working. I dont need a notification every time i report someone. i know its working mainly because im come here and see people bitching and moaning about how they were "unjustly" ban, yet their chatlogs and replies says otherwise!

With that said it would be nice to see some notification, but at least for me its not needed. They could do better ways at handling this and im sure they are working on it. but people want it now instead of not understanding what "Work" actually means. People assume they can just code something really fast and be done with it when it takes much longer to actually get something like this up and running!

#1 - the Report system is not suppose to be "Satisfying".

#2 - You should just grow up a little. Shit talking has been part of gaming since the first game was created on the PC / Console. By Design, League has more toxicity due to snowballing. - I personally am not into being a "tattle teller".

But to each their own.
