What is toxic?

I had a game a few games ago where someone tried to bypass the chat ban, and apparently it worked because I reported them and nothing happened.. Their comments insisted of: lr%%%%%l lpussyl ldumbassl l%%%%%%l

Using the "L" in front and behind the word apparently got them safe because they were never banned/punished.

On the other hand, in that same game I got a 14 day suspension because quite literally 75-90% of my comments insisted of "1v1 me then" and "so lucky" (or other versions as "so fuckin lucky (insert champ)" I wasn't aware you could get banned for asking people to 1v1 you or by saying "so lucky", both of which have no foul language in them...

Someone please let me know whats toxic and whats not, trying to get better as a community player and I would love to be not so "toxic" in game. Thanks.

How do you know nothing happened? The IFS notification is highly unreliable, they might've received a chat restriction and you weren't notified about it.

You aren't 14-day suspended for that. Post full chat logs.

Hey there! Im pretty sure that even if they bypass if you report in game its taken into consideration. Especially if said person says something no tolerance. If you got a 14 day this means you had a previous restriction or said a no tolerance word. Remember 1 report = 9 reports. Even though you may not see it at work, Im sure the IFS works! Good luck in your future games!

I focus me on my gameplay not what other say or do unless its importand like dragon on baron. And if you play ranked dont forget why you are there. To get better and get lp not to insult others or react to players who flame you. Remember whats really importand + flame only make players play worse you have to keep that in mind cause that is very importand and really can make a diffrence between a win and loos.

Just putting an L in front of a word wont fool the IFS, and they very well could have been punished, assuming you of someone else reported them.

Riot will decide what is toxic and what is not on a case by case basis. It may even differ depending on which Rioter is looking at the case. Usually though, the robot will issue a punishment and the Rioter will justify the robots ruling.
