What a weird game (aggressor was punished during lobby screen)

So why would somebody with so many hours on the game act like this and risk losing their account forever?

Sometimes it's a habit thing. There are people who say things like this in real life (perhaps with their friends, perhaps with other people) and their hands just type the same things their mouth habitually say.
People don't think pre and post game chat logs matter, but they do. They've always been taken into account when issuing punishments. They just weren't added to the cards until recently.
