10 game chat restriction -- what now?

So,

 Tl;dr I was taunted in a ranked match and took the bait and had a verbal discourse with an incredibly toxic player and now I'm chat restricted (auto flagged?) over what looks like a single game/single report? Now, I'm not sure if this is the only report I've received, but considering that people just report for you dying I'm not surprised i'm over a threshold if there is any.

 The question is, I've spent a lot of money on this account, and since i've been flagged for a 10 game chat restriction is it worth playing this account anymore? The company is a bit notorious for closing accounts for what I'd considered a bit of back and forth and now I'm hesitating to continue any further.

 Looking for some feedback: am i more prone to being punished now in the future? How long would this tentative period be if i'm under extra scrutiny? Is it worth maintaining this account and is there a period to which my account goes back to normal status?

10 game cr is the first punishement and supposed to be a "friendly warning". your acc is not lost or "watched" or anything.

just deactivate all and ally chat.

also you write the tl:dr at the end so it doesnt look like the entire post is a tl dr

Going through your other comments, let's answer some FAQs:

Does my account status recover?

Yes. You punishment tier drops if you dont get punished within a certain amount of playtime. For an average player, it's around 3 months. If you play alot, its shorter. If you don't play much, it's longer.

The reform card only showed me 1 game?

The reform card only shows you 1-5 recent games as examples of unacceptable behavior, doesn't mean you were punished for 1 game alone.

You can submit a ticket to https://support.riotgames.com and ask them how many games you were recently validly reported for.

I'm not even sure if I'm getting credible reports or is people just rage reporting me

False reports get thrown out, so don't worry about false reports. But if you've been punished, chances are you are doing something wrong.

I want to know what is / isn't acceptable within the community

In your ticket to Riot support, you can ask them for examples of unacceptable behavior, or you can submit your chatlogs here and we can dissect your whole chat line by line and let you know what's not ok. NOTE: sometimes our critic can be very harsh, be prepared to be grilled if you post chatlogs here.

If you are looking for your chatlogs, relog and you'll be able to see it. If you've already played through your 10 game chat restriction, then you can ask Riot support for them.

why does my honor go up and I still get punished?

One of the counter intuitive things of yhe system; the honor system is actually not tied to the punishment system. While getting validly reported does significantly slow down your honors progress, you still are gaining honors. Meaning you can actually go up an honor level while being punished within the same game.

I notice people get away with just about anything if they spell words incorrectly. I've been called every name (spelled incorrectly) in the book as a jungler because I don't gank or assist them immediately, and nothing seems to happen to these people. Much of the time, they are feeding and I can't even 2v1 them because their laner is already up 4 kills within a few minutes. So, they get very angry.

I see them over and over. They can be racist, but if they spell it incorrectly, nothing seems to be done.

It also seems that if you respond in any way, nothing is done about them, but you get chat restricted which I dont understand. I can be called racist and derogatory names and respond with "I'm not the genius that gave his laner five free kills" and I'll get chat restricted.

Makes no sense.

What does a single report look like? What do you mean what looks like a single report? How did you get that information?

Of course still play the account. Its not even temp banned. You still have a 25 game chat restrict and a 14 day ban to go before it gets permabanned. Why wouldnt you play on it?
