Y'know what triggers the **** out of me? People who falsely claim someone is inting...

I cant be the only one who gets annoyed by this right? I constantly see people that will accuse anyone with a K/D of less than 1/3 of inting... ive seen people claim that people who are 2/3 are inting... and even if the guy is 0/14 HAVING A BAD SCORE DOES NOT = INTING PEOPLE!!!!!! inting means they are INTENTIONALLY (notice the INT part) feeding, ive seen countless games where people get ganked early and tilt and try and recoup their losses (honestly its like watching a gambling addict... dont worry the next toss will win im sure of it!) by diving and end up dying... BUT THATS NOT INTING!!!!!

Lemme tell you a story about inting...(if you dont care just skip this paragraph) back in like... S3 i think it was i was in a bronze ranked game, and we had a teemo... an auto locked teemo after we had all claimed roles... he ran up mid every time he spawned... literally doing everything he could to get movement speed so he could feed faster... he would just run up mid over and over... he wasnt even supposed to be mid lane, i was mid lane, but he ran up mid.. we actually started to turn the game around, the game lasted over an hour, and were still holding out despite teemo, so he started getting blue buff and red buff from our side, and THEN running up mid to give the buffs to the enemy team... then at about 104 min when we finally lost, he said in end game chat "wow guys i really thought we had that!" and left... he had something like 40+ deaths (cant remember it was a long time ago, im sure someone can do the math)

I tell you this story for a reason (and yes it really happened im still triggered) because that is what inting is... clear, deliberate, trolling. So it pisses me off to see people calling out their team mates EVEN ON THE OTHER TEAM IDGAF, for inting, when theyre clearly just having a bad game!!!!

Claiming that someone is intentionally feeding and for people to report them is a great way to get banned by the same system they were attempting to use against the other person.

Sometimes players are playing so poorly that you can only assume that its intentional. Unfortunately most people don't seem to realize that you can be inting without buying mobi boots and running down a lane.

I had a xayah go 1-17 in a plat 1/2 game and it was clear that the person just wanted the game to end. He ran into like 4 people turned around ulted and just let himself die. multiple times. I was something like 7-3. He typed into chat something along the lines of end the game now. I reported him and im still triggered he didnt at least get punished. It was clear that he was feeding. I dont know how a person can have more than 15 deaths in less than 20 minutes. The alistar was doing perfectly fine.

There is a difference between being aggressive and failing versus intentionally allowing the enemy team get ahead.

Because it is the slang du jour just like "going ham" was a few years ago, people like to throw "inting" around super casually. So many people don't ever use it properly, and I feel like a lot of people don't really understand what it means. "Oh you're having a bad game and you're 2/8/2? You're inting." "GG top inted first blood" etc etc. I agree with OP. This is a super annoying trend.

Wow just wow Almost Everyone complains the game is too snowball, any mistake puts you in a bad spot, its so hard to comeback, etc.

But lots of people here say a bad kda is obvious inting. Once you fall behind bad enough you usually keep dying no matter how much you try to play safe. Towers don't save you when the other team is fed. It's either afk or die more. And there's always those people who refuse to surrender. They scream let's group mid and beat them! 5 mins later enemy team ace.

Inting happens It sucks But blind kda does not tell the story.

I've seen Faker go 0/7. People who flame and/or call for reports over a bad game are just straight up idiots.

Whether something counts as "intention" is the main point of contention here. The people who oppose your post, I believe, take this stance: intending to do something which will result in giving the enemy team a kill/gold advantage, regardless of whether the individual is delusional enough to think they will succeed, is intentionally feeding the enemy. Essentially, this stance counts a refusal to be introspective of one's own feeding as intent to continue doing so.

Dysnomia3/19/2018, 8:13:59 AM3 votes

Yes. Chasing teemo/talon/yi in unwarded jungle is not inting. Not at all. Just regular skills.

Then again, I do understand where some of these people's anger comes from. If someone dies in lane to say a Darius and repeatedly tries to fight him even though a lot of people have told them "don't fight him, play safe and you outscale him" and dies repeatedly, it's going to piss off a few people. Especially when said champion snowballs out of control and they're powerless to stop them.

Honestly, a lot of people need to learn that shit happens.

Its funny because as a support main, I often am willing to make a "sacrifice" to A) make sure an enemy tower goes down, B) ensure ally team secures an objective (Dragon/Herald/baron, etc) C) To save an ally. But I am less and less willing to do that because I can risk my own life to save a teammate. But If SUPPORT needs help, No one will lift a finger (often using the excuse "if I helped you I might have died") and even worse is they will turn around and call for reports for "inting"

They can sit there and watch a teammate get ambushed in a 4v1 MURDERBUSH and wont lift a finger because It might cause a blemish on thier precious record...which in turn prevents them from getting that "S" grade. But they are more than happy to report the ambushed player for "inting", Yeah cuz that will teach them not to....get unexpectedly ambushed and left for dead by a teammate going for a "perfect game"?...I think?

this shit is coming from streamers. Just like "trolling".

Qtiepie makes a missplay, canceld an auto attack or sth and says to himself (+his chat) "damn i am trolling" or. "damn i am inting". Streamers start it, the sheeps which watch them repeat it.

Toxic person here.

Whether it is intentional or not, your performance affects my chances of winning. Common courtesy demands that you APOLOGIZE for your mistakes. It is EXTREMELY RARE that some one in this game apologizes for their mistakes. I wonder why.....

If you make it to 0/14, then you're doing something you know isn't working. So you may not be running it down mid, but you're not even trying to correct your play to stop dying. You're intentionally doing the same thing that gets you killed over and over. Intentionally. Dying. Over and over.

I get where you're coming from, and your example would be much better if it was 0/7 or so. But at some point, a player is expected to stop dying. They are expected to play safe, build tankier, and group around the team. Group for objectives. Fight as a unit. But if they don't do this, and they keep doing the same crap (invading enemy jungle when all lanes are pushed to tower, facechecking unwarded baron even though your team is spam pinging you to back off, etc), they are dying because they intentionally refuse to correct their play.

At some point, people have to take responsibility for doing extremely poorly in a competitive game. At some point, it has to be reportable. Sorry, but your point is null. If a person doesn't stop doing crap that gets them killed over and over and over, they are to blame. And if you're not going to try to do your best to win every game, then you're already in violation of the Summoner's Code. So in my opinion, this type of feeding should still be reportable.

Bring on the downvotes from all the Yasuo and Riven mains. I'm ready.
