Topic: Toxic Community (Unpopular opinion)

I actually don't think the player base is really toxic. All you see on boards are people complaining about the toxic player base. I think what a lot of you forget is that these people go out of their way to make threads about "X person is so toxic, int my game, rito fix this player base" while the people who find the community to not be toxic do not post about the community. We sometimes forget that a few very loud complaining group of people may make something seem worse than it actually is.

I'd say you're completely wrong.

It's horrible. Every game. Every single game I queue into someone is a total piece of shit.

It wouldn't be tolerated on ANY SPORTS FIELD ANYWHERE what occurs in these games and I don't enjoy the competition I should enjoy because of it.

Hmm, I get toxicity at the lower end in about 1/3 of games. On a bad day 1/1 games. Everything from int feeding, to cursing and chatting racial slurs at enemies and teammates, to spam pinging, to blaming teammates for deaths. So much.

I don't complain about it on the boards (unless you consider this post complaining then you can count 1 complaint), but it is certainly there. I just mute and report.

The real truth here is that the community expects you to play as the level of a PLATIUM(even if your bronze), so its either play well or get PERMA.....

Solution go to others games this community has turned into full out rage mode cause seeing the defeat word in your screen = rage ,tilt and revenge for the person who screw your game

The community takes action far worse than riot games as a company, they will do whatever it takes to perma banned players who don't understand mechanics, they go to other websites for witch hunt porpuses not only the boards or reddit im talking yes there other stuff out there the community uses, then here on the boards people saying i got perma for nothing, some cases they do tell why but other cases they don't give information about there perma banned, However some of this cases are indeed true that they have been perma banned by poeple complaining about there gameplay.

Conclusion league of legends is no longer play to have fun is Play to PROTECT YOUR ACCOUNT!, ifyou don't play well at the level the community wants you to play its over for you expect hate, witch hunt, unexpected friend deletions and of course humiliations all of this will leave you to permanent banned by not Riot games but the community.

Good luck playing even in normals, this is the true League of legends community.

I've had to mute like 90% of the players I've come across in games over the past 3 months. Or wait, rephrase: I've either had to mute them because they've been so bloody toxic (telling me that I should go back in time and kill my parents so I wouldn't have to exist) or have had to deal with "possible" bots who use zero form of communication in games and finish 0-8 against less than bronze 5 talents. While I do agree that there might be some people who aren't toxic in this game, I am starting to think that the game in general is slowly turning into what "Rust" is in which the actual game itself isn't bad but the community is either criminally toxic or slowly leaving to get away from it.

Oh, and just because one part of one group doesn't say anything on the forums doesn't mean that it is suddenly the majority. People can hate something and not share their opinion of it, like me and my dislike of chia pets.

I'm at Silver 4 and I'd say on average 1 of every 4 games has toxic behavior (on my team). My last game the other team had two people that were posting this about their teammate:

"i hope he gets aids and dies and his whole family too" "i want to skull fuck his mom for giving birth to such a piece of shit" "he must have come out of her asshole instead of her vagina"

IMO, league needs to up it a notch, even if it means some people get warnings who weren't necessarily all that bad. For the greater good, it is so much needed.

Also, I've had to climb out of bronze in three seasons so far and each time I have to say, there is nothing like like bronze, and especially, bronze 5. Horrible, horrible people there just about every game.

I've had worse experiences of toxicity in CSGO and Overwatch than my 5+ years of playing League.
