Toxic Players and Riot

The increasing number of toxic players is mostly riots fault. There I said it and it's true.

League is a team game where one bad player can ruin it for their entire team, and as a result these unskilled players who stumbled out of bronze get flamed by their teamates due to a ladder system that only rewards winning, not skill.

Also the huge deal made of banning Tyler 1 has brought tons of attention to toxic challenger player like Tyler and LonesomeRanger. As a result it's now "cool" to be toxic due to the way players look up to those in challenger

Dont tell that to these spoiled kids who think they are the next LCS world champs but dont know how to look at a map. I just got demoted because my adc ignored my pings as I pinged for help, Riven was able to just walk up right behind him and kill both of us (riven killed me first while I was trying to get his attention, adc just kept on farming. Ended up giving riven a double) and these same people will brag about how great they are, acting like they are the best player on league. (The level of arrogance on these spoiled brats is sickening)

These people come onto a TEAM game, and all they care about is "I am the best, How great am I! Look at ME carry" Thier team doesnt even EXIST to them. I havent been able to get out bronze because every time I get Promoted, I get People like this Adc stated who dont know what the damn map is, And screw over thier team.

But these people treat a TEAM game like its a solo free for all. Thier team is just further competition. They dont care that THIER actions have a RIPPLE EFFECT ON THE TEAM. (i.E Ignoring the map got not only Adc killed, but support killed as well for trying to Save/Warn him) All they care about is "Who has most kills" and sinse Support is NOT a kill-focused role, support gets brushed off and ignored, then blamed for the loss based on thier deaths, Assists dont even register to these people.

I agree with your last statement regarding Tyler1. Which just so happens to be why Riot placed a ban on sight policy on T1. Higher elo players that make a habit of flaming in chat, trolling, and int'ing are something that Riot takes seriously. The act of banning Tyler1 wasn't the issue, it was that he was getting more popular and was showcasing the league experience to other players. Making it appear cool or funny to break the rules and ruin games. Riot took the appropriate steps in that scenario.

As for the first part I do agree that it is frustrating why you are doing well but it doesn't matter because top is feeding and jungle keeps getting invaded. And all you get is a loss with no reward for your play. But how do you fix that? I don't support them offering more free content. This is a profit based business and they already provide tons of free or discounted content. If they found a way to slightly reduce the LP loss if you achieved an A+ or higher, or something like that, I would be interested in that. But until then the best say to show skill is by winning games.

Top players that deserve higher rank will have a greater impact on their games. They will have more influence in losing matches. They might not be able to win every game by themselves but they will always tip the balance in their favour.
