It's time for RITO to get the reality check they deserve.

Your community sucks in multiple ways. The game itself is great. But the community and your regulation of it is shit.

For example, you crack down on the active aggressive trolls now. Which I deeply appreciate! But what about that person that doesn't get their lane in champ select. Then says they're going to feed, and throws the game. What about the person that literally makes shit up, just to make you mad.

I honestly think you don't even record pre-game through after game chat. Also people simply lie. Like I just played a game with a Leona. That says I'm never with her during engages.

I was literally, literally right next to her shooting. You have tackled the active aggressive trolls, I'll give you that. But not the passive aggressive ones.

That combined with champions and items beings disabled. Do to you guys messing up. Plus rage quitters, people who dc because of internet dropping. All that crap adds up. It's to much bullshit for one person to handle. The psychological momentum builds up. Yeah I know there's a mute button. But you mute them after they say something nasty. Get me?

You have more than enough money to solve this. I'm not buying your bullshit anymore.

I'm going to find a way to contact your investors. Then I'm going to embarrass them for backing you up as a company. This is all out now. I'm fucking tired of your shit. Legally speaking, you're going to suffer the consequences, of your lack of action.

I will post on reddit, 9gag, idgaf. I will contact news agencies, whatever I got to do ya dig? I'm really going to devote my time to this. You're going to take a blow for making me deal with this worthless, low life bullshit! I am not fucking with you. No this Isn't a threat. What I'm talking about is going to be completely legal. But I am fucking done with you.

This Isn't rocket science, this also Isn't hard to solve. I am as pissed off as I am. Because I know for a fact, all bullshit set aside. That you could remedy this situation in a heart beat. You have to much money to not be able to un-fuck this fuck fest. I know for a fact I'm not the only one that feels this way.

I don't want any of that. "It's way better than it used to be". I know it is comparatively better now than it used to be. But a fart in the wind blowing in the opposite direction of LoL's players would be better than it "used to be". I demand demonstrable results, and I fucking demand them now! Not "2" seasons from now. Not five months from now. I demand it NOW!

No excuses, hands down. Get the job done, be thorough, cover all angles. Not just one aspect of your toxic community.

I play a lot of games, and know a lot of people who play games. If anyone pulled even a fraction of any of this rubbish on those games. It would be solved at that exact moment, and be done away with. End of story!

Behold the almighty keyboard warrior! He who will singlehandedly take a multimilion dollar corporation down with internet posts and wild arm flayling in boards! BEHOLD!!

So...because someone disagrees with you, they are automatically a troll? Now I get why you think every game has a troll and Riot does nothing. You're simply projecting your own attitude on everyone else.

I don't think you understand what a troll is. Honestly, I'm surprised you haven't been banned yet.

So honestly what is your plan for improving toxicity, I would like to hear it, Like I don't agree with all of Riots decisions and the way they go about things because there is one thing I personally don't think I could ever teach any Rioter to understand as far as player behavior goes, and that is "Revenge", and that is easy when Riot allows players to keep creating accounts in short terms, I could write an entire essay on "Revenge" "Politics" and Real Life of why some of the bad things happen that do.

But anyways TL:DR what would be your plans to actually make the game better they are already working on fixing the Tribunal for next season, they are adding Role Selection to make the game better something I told them to do for 3 years myself and they finally doing it.

No, no, they'd get away with it a lot more. League is the only game that cracks down on this a lot.

They already know they have a toxic community, like every moba out there. They do a lot more to try and fix that than any other moba. They do not need a reality check, they know about problems. And most of the problems that you listed, aren't that common.

And the results have gotten immeasurably better. Way back when I first started playing, season 2 and season 3, holy shit, It was rare to have a game in which people didn't flame. Nowadays, I'm noticing that it's a LOT less often. Maybe 1 out of 10 games.

Its not that they only focus on 1 or some aspects of trolling. It is that resources aren't infinite and you have to do them 1 at a time.

Realistically trolling will probably always be an issue. It is a very deliberate action and with a little thought you can always find ways to annoy people without breaking any rules. So you not only have to identify trolling behavior(like intentional feeding). But you have to determine when different things are appropriate. Like killing jungle camps, totally fine if you are the jungler, or hes off doing something else. But Its entirely possible to use killing jungle camps to troll your jungler. Similar situations when punishing lanes. Lots of times when that's not only acceptable but helpful, but at the wrong time is both detrimental to the teams chances of winning and infuriating for the laner. Things like that also have the added complication of requiring you to judge someones intentions. Many of these things can simply be a case of someone being wrong about when they should do certain things.

Your argument's main points in a nutshell:

"Since Riot has lots of money, they can make toxicity go away like (*snap) THAT. Solving the bad attitudes of players is as simple of moving money from one place to another. Since I know little to nothing about how the systems in place work, I cannot form an opinion on how to run a system that will completely eradicate bad behavior, therefore I shall stick to my previous statement. Money plus Toxicity equals No Toxicity! Genius, if I do say so myself."

Lemme put it straight here fella: No amount of money can by itself get rid of toxicity. After all how would it accomplish anything? I'll toss in a few ideas:

1.) Riot hires 100,000 near minimum wage ($8/hr) employees to monitor servers 24/7. These "mods" will use a new spectator client with estimated dev time between 1-3 weeks to intensely monitor all actions taken by a player. Let's assume only a fraction of all players play at one time: 7.5 million. This means that, by spending 2 BILLION DOLLARS YEARLY ON WAGES FOR THESE MODS, Riot can monitor a mere 1/75 of all games happening at any given time. SO we see that this strategy, the one you seem to advocate, is entirely bunk.

2.) Reward positive play with various gifts. What do you give out? Icons? only a few people care enough about them to fully reform. Skins? what if a troll already owns all of the skins? This would also lead to a hefty loss of income for Riot, so also kinda unfavorable. LE skins only for good players? Takes dev time from actual content. While Riot does do this idea a little bit, a large plan is unfeasible.

Please feel free to come up with your own ideas that have more depth than "Throw money at it, eventually the large amount of bills will smother the flames."

For some more specific counterpoints to other arguments:

"But what about that person that doesn't get their lane in champ select. Then says they're going to feed, and throws the game. What about the person that literally makes shit up, just to make you mad. " --Wait until after the game ends, report for troll/feed/failure to communicate. If they do it for more than once in a blue moon, they will be banned.

"That combined with champions and items beings disabled. Do to you guys messing up. Plus rage quitters, people who dc because of internet dropping." --Champs and items being disabled: Sometimes bugs happen. You try coding a game this complex. It's like walking through a china shop: pick something up wrong, might bump over another piece. inb4 "throw $$$ at better coder$". Sorry, the most experienced ones with the code of LoL are the employees currently at Riot. Also, wait for the new client, coming soon TM --Rage quitters gonna quit bro. Riot cannot stop them. My suggestion? use the handy dandy report feature! Available at an end-game screen near you! Also automatic detection. Ya. --Internet drops are 99.999999% always on the player's end. Check your connection before the game if you live in a spotty area, and if you keep getting booted, don't queue. Simple.

"You have more than enough money to solve this. I'm not buying your bullshit anymore. " "This Isn't rocket science, this also Isn't hard to solve."

Then solve it. If it is so easy, YOU should be able to eliminate all toxicity. Present your enlightened ideas to the world! Create world peace! It's SO SIMPLE. Sadly, it isn't. If things were as simple as you think they are, we would have no carbon footprint, spaceships would be on Pluto building a colony, and half of the oranges in stores wouldn't be grainy. Too bad the world is a complex place.

Cya.

How's destroying Riot going?

Acropolis9311/25/2015, 5:54:49 AM1 votes

You know what, I've decided you guys are right. Seeing that RITO won't acknowledge the existence of Passive Aggressive trolls. I've decided that if I can beat them, I'll just join them. Then I'll spread that information around on every troll site/group in existence. So I'll just go PA every single game. But make sure I'm within the guidelines so I don't get banned. Touche`

ShaftyMegee11/26/2015, 1:54:01 AM1 votes

You realize that throwing money at shit doesnt.... fix it...? 100's of millions of people play this game, what makes you think it will be easy to fix?

Oh and riots investors? Only care about riots money... which they make lots of. Sooo have fun with your little crusade, it will only be a waste of your mental energy.

Acropolis9312/23/2015, 8:40:44 AM1 votes

I'll admit. I'm emotional, in the aggressive, combative sense. But sometimes, evil needs a boot in the arse! What if what I'm saying! My general message, is beyond my lack of communication skills. Which I undoubtedly lack, but about causing greater effects! beyond my own ego! and those that oppose me! I wouldn't of worded it that way He made insults Wow... He focused on this or that . So Psychologically speaking! Seeing that we're all psychological animals. What if I am right ?

Can anyone think into that? I am a dickkkkkkkkkkkkee, but it does matter in some ways. Imagine if the people farming your food, keeling your enemies, making your clothes or houses weren't dixxxxxx.... We all have our places right?

Sad tosay, you did ennnnttt'' pass the test. But life is all about progresss. So I'm not haiting!!!!

Acropolis9312/23/2015, 8:56:42 AM1 votes

Alright, the guy that spoke of statistics. Saying something or another about. Putting a active mod in a game. Would be futile right? Point is, it won't happen every game. In most games, tribunal will deal with it. But in those few games. Where a smurf(person who is higher ELO that is bored has made an account. Because they don't want to wait to play the game. Because less people are in "THAT" elo. They just might troll, because, WHAT THEY GOT TO LOSE? RIGHT!?!?!!?

So... Fact is.. These people have mostly a negative attitude. In accordance to "MY" experience. Fair?

Anyways, point in putting ACTIVE MODERATORS IN GAMES!!!

It's mostly, psychological... get it? I hope you do.

Because I'm not your mommas teeeeiet. (*)

This game is so fucked. So many trolls dear lord. Still going to embarrass their investors. It won't be hard gathering evidence to prove it either. I'll just have to ask them to download the fucking game and play it.
