I am getting targeted?!

I was recently chat restricted for what?

I didn't say anything harmful or anything and I got chat restriction first and a enemy Aatrox, Malzahar and Mundo were all being toxic to me I said one word and then they all started freaking out and one of them even tried adding me to say im garbage and stuff I suddenly blocked him cause I didn't want to deal with it and I get chat restriction?

This support system makes no sense I hardly said anything in that match and they were calling me garbage and making fun of me for no reason.

Do you have your chat logs? That's sort of what we need to see in order to tell you what you might have ended up restricted for, if anything.

They should be on the reform card that was sent to you.

First, double check your e-mail, including your spam folder. If it's not there, then send in a ticket to Riot Support, and they should get back to you typically within 48 hours (often much sooner).

Open a support ticket, to riot games. Request a reform card as to why you obtained the chat restrictions By chance which word did you say?

on top of what others have said already in regards to sending a support ticket, I'll throw a bunch a blind guesses that typically gets people punished (while they don't know what they are saying is punishable):

Asking for reports (as a form of harassment)
threatening to leave or AFK the game as a form of griefing
passive-aggressive comments
sarcastic comments
belittling others (especially when they make a bad play)

you won't find a specific link on that as Riot is very vague with their rules.

These are just based on what I see through people posting their chat logs and their comments. Sarcastic comments when used as a form of harassment is still harassment, even though it's like super mild.

So everyone who ever said "Thanks!" after they killed me for first blood should be banned?

I've always thought this way as well and will now compile "The List".

The main thing you need to understand is that the system doesn't work off "key words", but phrases. It has the ability to understand context whether it was used in a manner of harassment or just friendly banter. It is a learning system based on the millions of community reports it is receiving every day and updates itself. It also allows a little bit of trash talk (typically towards enemies).

What this means is that if majority of the community reports on a certain matter, it will become "an offensive term / phrase". If everyone reported "thanks" after getting a kill, then it will likely become a punishable term as an unsportsmanlike conduct.

"gg ez" itself is probably punishable, but has to be done consistently over thousands of games, because there are parts of the community that report it and parts that don't care, thus considered very very VERY mild toxicity.

You can't be a dick. Anything you do to attack/belittle/harass others is against the rules. It doesn't really matter what form it takes.

You can be sarcastic, as long as you aren't using your sarcasm to attack others.

I'm not sure if you get a reform card for manual punishment.

I'd suggest submitting a support ticket requesting further details.

Sounds like you were a victim of flamebaiting .this is a griefing tactic where players will deliberately attempt to goad you into typing in chat. In the hopes of getting you punished by the automated system. The only way to be 100%safe is to never use chat
