So I just got permanently banned and spent over an hour in livechat with a Riot employee. For some context, I was playing jungle with a premade bot lane. I ganked, Sivir died, I pushed the wave in and left. From lvl 5 on, she proceeded to fight me for every camp or just sit afk at tower. After the game, I was permabanned for "verbal abuse", I'll post my chat log below. The official Riot stance is: Mute and play. Now how, may I ask, does muting help me, if they aren't saying anything, but simply fighting me for every bit of gold and xp? Furthermore, how am I supposed to play my role as jungler if I'm too far behind to gank or fight at all? They said "Yes, it's a bad situation but you need to deal with it and play to win instead of asking your team for backup"

If you notice, there are zero threats, extremely little cussing, and overall, not even talking to the troll in question. I am unable to fight or farm, and if I afk, I get punished for that. Just remember guys: someone running down mid? Mute them! Problem solved

how do you get out bursted by a marksman that has no items?

You can tax her lane, you can counter jungle, you can hunt enemy champs. So many ways for you to earn gold, yet you choose to be a key board warrior instead of learning to adapt.

because you spent the entire log passive-aggressively flaming and harassing the sivir. You made an already bad situation even worse for your other teammates. Instead of having to deal with a trolling sivir, now they also have to deal with a whining teammate as well. You both deserved to be punished.

and no one here is saying anything about the person trolling but 1 person. If we start punishing the trolls and the people that casue raging, we can end the rage. Punish the cause not the effect. If I punch a cop and the cop shoots me, I get put in jail not the cop. Punish the trolls. I just ended a game with a vayne doing 18.9k dmg in 45 minutes and a tryda who was 5/15 and since I'm in promos I couldn't dodge, when I seen team comp so i played it out and it went just as I seen it would through team chat and champs picked. Punish trolls and we SHOULD see less of this happening and less people raging.

This is standard on Sivir in pro play as few can match her pushing power. She can hard shove the lane for lots of pressure, then use TP for the ability to back early for something like a Pickaxe without letting up any pressure as you're back in lane to keep shoving before they can match your recall. Later on she can swap to Heal/Exhaust for teamfights when laning is over.

But instead you berate them because YOU lack the knowledge.
