Today I logged onto League and I got a 10 day chat ban for the WORST reason ever. This one game our jungler started to flame me instantly as I picked Sion ADC. Keep in mind this is a NORMAL GAME. I say that I won't leash him if he flames me again. He gets triggered that I won't give him a leash and decides to go and int midlane giving the veigar 2 kills. He then goes afk. He just looks at bot lane pinging and calling me a kid. So obviously I'm getting annoyed and back chat him telling him it's a normal game and that I'm not trolling just having fun. After the 10 minutes and us winning lane bot I'm about 8/5/5. Not bad right so I'm clearly not trolling. Kha is still afk convince that I'm trolling when he afks and keeps insisting on a leash when he can just do wolves by himself and carry on from there. If you're going to post pictures of the chat logs, you might as well post all of them. There is some that you're leaving out from those three pictures.

That's from a different game where I was flaming my friend. I'll send them but they're not related to this post. It was fun and games anyways

You're telling Riot to "fix up". Fix up what exactly? If the game popped up there that means you were reported in that game. You can't just dismiss its contribution to the punishment.

To look at the entire game just not what one person said. There will always be context they just need to check it.

The context of the game does not matter. You control your enter button and Riot expects you to not take your anger and frustration out on your teammates.

I fully accept that I'm just frustrated that this happened by someone who had done some equally, or even worse than what I did. I will accept the ban if I was in the wrong against someone who wasn't being a nonce.

Each person is treated individually for the purpose of punishment. Yours is completely separate from theirs. Just as your punishment was issued once you crossed a certain level of toxicity across games, the same will happen to others if they are regularly toxic.

Yeah you're right. I've just never had this happen to me before so I was confused how I just instantly get a ban instead of a warning when I wasn't harsh to that player. Thank you for your input

The context really doesn't matter. The question is were you insulting and harassing others, if So, we're you reported for it. If the answer to that is Yes, then that game will be counted as a part of your punishment.

If u didn't care that it was normals... Why even talk in chat or anything? Just play. Cuz in ur words "its normals"

I think we can agree that it is not fun when some deliberately sabotages your game for a stupid reason. You are right I should've just ignored him but when people make no sense in their arguments I get annoyed.

Ya do what i did n move chat screen off screen so u cant see it. I have checkpoints now to get to honor 1 cuz i dont read it

I just dont believe those posts who say: oh I just got banned/chat ban for playing Sion adc or Brand jungle...there is usually much more behind it or I would have been banned a long time ago.

I got banned from flaming not from playing Sion adc. He went afk because I went Sion adc and didn't leash him. I agree I would've been banned ages ago aswell but I doubt anybody reports players for playing an champ in an unfamiliar role. It's just un-ban worthy.
