Do reports still hold weight based on report history or is it just 1 report?

Recently I've learned from these forums actually that 1 report is equal to 9 reports if everyone reports the afk or feeder. Idk why but I remember being told that if you report a lot it's considered less of a report, and if you never report, your report counts as huge. Did they out date this system, I honestly don't remember. My second question is , if you're on a 14 day ban, and you just so happen to get reported when you get off the ban so it auto bans you, but your chat logs are "wp, gg, nice!" would you still stay permad or would riot unban you. This is all hypothetical, I'm just curious. So I know what I can say, cause what If i say nothing but still get reported and my chat logs are empty. Cause doesn't it only take like 1 report at that point to push your account into perma? I'm not even being a smart ass I'm legit curious to know if it's better to just not type at all until your honor level is restored, or just try and be positive.

Reports haven't lost weight since the instant feedback system was put in place.

Nope. All reports do now is flag a game for review, there is no accuracy weight and the number of reports does nothing.

It's actually really simple.

if (reports > 0) { review(); }

As for how the punishment system works, here's a helpful flowchart.

Also false reports are handled fairly accurately, but occasionally someone does get permabanned accidentally. Riot does fix these and give the account back, but it happens rarely enough that I've only ever seen it myself twice. It's normally handled through support tickets rather than the boards.
