Can I report for someone taking something like Kindred Support or something similiar? Griefing?

Its obvious trolling. Their excuse is always 'I'm playing something I like' which is cool in norms, ARAM, howling, etc. Its not cool in ranked to play Kindred support. Does this fall under griefing? Its causing grief to a team of 4 other players.

A few months ago, anybody would have said the same thing about Miss Fortune support. Playing off meta is not griefing. Even playing badly as a result of playing off meta is not griefing. It's no different from somebody choosing an unusual build, having different strategic priorities, etc. Frankly, I even struggle with "support" as a defined role. The implication seems to be that you'll go bot lane and protect the adc with your life. So long as somebody stuck to the "low income" aspect of support, which is its only defining feature, not only do I think it's acceptable for them to play Kindred or whomever else they think will work, I wouldn't report for going someplace besides bot lane.

Kindred as a support? I dig it. Well, the idea of it. As long as someone can play it.

As an ADC, I would certainly support having a character that can dodge skillshots from the enemy, slow the enemy, zone the enemy, and to top it all off prevent me from dying from the enemy's well placed ult/other ability/autos.

Kindred as a support is basically Kayle's ult combined with the mobility and zoning that Kayle lacks. Why you wouldn't at least try it out before labelling it "obvious trolling" is beyond me.

It's not griefing, people are allowed to play whoever they want in whatever lane or role they would like, provided that they actually try and participate in the game.

as much as you might like to, you do not get to choose who your teammates play as.
