Perma ban discussion

So let me get this out first my account was perma banned for 3rd party program use. I never have cheated and the only program I used related to LoL is Discord. I don’t have overwolf or Curse or anything else to help me with the game. Most of what I use for game help are website like Champion.gg and lolnexus. You can believe me or not I don’t care at this point I just want my account back. After my account was banned I immediately sent a support ticket and came here to the boards for help. I see a huge number of other people claiming that their account was banned falsely as well and of course I start assuming that is must be something with riot’s system. Now my question is to those who frequent the boards here often after a ban wave do discussions on being banned wrongfully increase here just like right now? Is this a normal occurrence or is there an unusual spike this time?

While I feel its normal to have spikes I don't think it's normal to this extent.

You're not alone man. I was wrongfully banned as well on a 5+ year account. So much money and time I spent on it. I am not willing to just give it up either. They have closed one of my tickets and haven't answered the other in two days. I am just going to continue to open tickets to try and yet my account back. This whole " deal with it" mentality they gave me for being wrongfully banned isn't going to just sit with me. I'd say just keep it up... don't give in.

Since these are issued in waves it's normal to have spikes. 99% of people will claim they haven't cheated even if they did, so you have to understand when people say they don't believe you. Sometimes people will install a piece of software that has exploits but aren't aware of it. Even if you don't use them, having them alone can get you banned.

People keep accusing them of cheating, but they have to realize that RIOTS SYSTEM IS NOT PERFECT!. Their process is to detect the program, manually check them (dont how this process works, could be intensive, or just a quick glance), then proceed with the proper punishment. It most likely has a 90% rate of success, but what about the rest? What about those who are genuinely innocent, what do they do? surely riot has a system in place for them? Truth is, they dont. Riot support has taken an aggressive stance on this issue, giving out spam/pre-written statements and never re investigating the actual problem (most likely because they dont have the necessary skill sets in order to do this). What we need is someone from riot games who is capable of actually investigating the problem, and until they see it, we will not get anywhere.

It's pretty normal for it to spike like this right after a ban wave, yeah.
