No. You shut up, you dont call people brain damaged, you dont ask for reports (that alone gets you punished since one report flags a game, doesnt matter if someone gets 9x'd or only reported once). You just shut up, possibly say "play a little safer" but stuff like "brain damaged" is in itself toxic. Context doesnt matter, nor should it matter, what you say is on you.

The question isn't "does this deserve a ban" but rather "does this deserve a punishment" instead, and the answer to that question is yes. You spend a good amount of the game calling for reports, insulting, name-calling and arguing with others. None of this is acceptable behavior, and even if they started it/were worse, that doesn't justify your own bad behavior. Thus the punishment is deserved.

From now on if you can't interact with others without resorting to things like insults and name-calling then don't respond at all.

And plus...calling someone troll or braindead is nothing compared to what others have said to me without getting punished....I try my hardest every game while a lot of games if someone goes 0/2 on lane they just start trolling my game and saying that they dont care.I guess going 0/12 is perfectly fine right?Its not like if someone is toxic you can mute them and win the game, but if someone goes 0/12 i can't do anything about it.Stupid system.I have a guy in my friendlist with whom i got matchmaked a few weeks ago who was silver1 at the time, he literally trolls every single game in his match history going 2/12 and being toxic, he is now currently bronze 2 and still inting every game while being toxic and he didnt get a ban to this day.how is this fair?

Trolling, inting and the like is not acceptable and is punished with a 14-day ban first offense when proven to be intentional. That said, just because there's a mute button doesn't mean that verbal abuse/harassment is acceptable. As for your so-called friend, while I don't condone his behavior if what you said is true (and you should file a support ticket about him) there is no need for you to be stalking his match history as not only is it just a waste of time but is also not an accurate indicator of whether or not someone received a punishment.

Velkoz was autofilled support, but said i go mid idc, then he managed to get bot but was stealing ezreal's farm so ezreal was just staying in base and using flash/heal/ult whenever it was up.Udyr kept going 1v2/1v3 and dying and flaming us.wouldnt you call a report if someone who got chosen by the system to go support and nobody else agreed to swap would just come on your lane to steal some farm?I am not going to praise them for what they did, as you can see in the chat log for a good ammount of time i was the one who was telling them to stop trolling and just farm up and try to win, but even i have my limits.Cho'gath top and ezreal adc had a little over 100 farm in 30 minutes game and i am platinum, not bronze or iron, so people should at least know that farming is something you have to do every game.

Except that you didn't just tell them to stop trolling, you were consistently insulting and harassing them and calling for reports against them as well. If all you did was tell or ask them to stop trolling then you wouldn't have received a punishment, but because you decided that wasn't enough and that verbal harassment was needed you got punished.

Nobody likes trolls and I get how frustrating they can be to deal with. However, trolls troll to get a negative reaction out of others, so by not giving them that satisfaction they'll either straighten up or just dig themselves a deeper grave. In the future if you've asked someone to stop acting up and they refuse to do so then just drop it and move on and focus on your own game rather than complain about it all game long.

You don't have to constantly give out praise or be a soulless emotional robot, but taking your anger and frustration out on the other players solves nothing in the long run. I get frustrated and angry myself but I just yell and rage at the screen (and punch pillows/my chairs armrests) rather than in chat. This way I can vent without compromising my teams success chances.

I literally said that i am platinum as in the elo where people should at least know the basics of the game, i didnt call it a high elo.Plat is still better than average tho since im 14% of the people playing lol, so that should mean that i get at least people that realise when they are playing bad and play for the team's win condition instead of trying to go full carry while you are 0/10.Btw being bronze i shouldnt expect any good advices regarding the game so please dont try to write back.

Riot isn't attempting to control your emotions. Riot wants your behavior to be in line with the rules. Going on a 100-line typing tirade is not going to help the situation at all and you know it.

No. There are always 3 options in this case. You don't have to be positive (option 1), but you shouldn't be negative (option 2). The option everyone ignores (3) is to remain neutral and not flame your teammates even if they're breaking the rules. In other words, say nothing.

Yea maybe i dont solve it by telling someone stupid that they are acting stupid but i also shouldnt be punished for it.when my teammates say that i am playing bad and im feeding the enemy, i just play safe and try to peel for the main carry, i dont go 1v5 and trying to be a hero and i also dont mind someone telling me that i suck in a game where i suck because facts shouldnt hurt...

That's your opinion. When your so-called "facts" are being used to insult people, that's not the behavior Riot wants in their game. Telling someone they're stupid is not constructive and bottom line, it's against the rules.

Well as you could see if you actually read the chat log, i tried to be constructive, i told them to focus of farm and items so we stand a chance.They all didnt listen, and my only "harrasment" was ASKING udyr if he is braindamaged, because he was like 0/8 and went to invade xin when he was like 10/0, died and then flamed me for not following.I asked it in the sense of like what was he hoping to achieve cause in no world an udyr with half a trinity force and a tiamat beats a xin with 3 items and 3 levels over him.The rest really is not flaming.Asking to report velkoz who was support in champion select and he decided that he would go mid is really not bad.Also that makes him a troll, which i called him.When my jungler is 0/12 and theirs is 16/1 and i say jungle difference...is it bannable?Really makes no sense, when all you do is try to invade the enemy and die over and over again.There was absolutely no insult besides that question to udyr...and i really tried to be constructive with him cause i main jungle and i saw some flaws in his pathing, but he was flaming me with really untrue statemets and thats when i stopped.And velkoz single handedly lost this game by trolling ezreal and, as a result, trolling the game, why would i ignore him, and on top of it, he was also toxic, but i guess he doesnt deserve a ban

What you tried to do is unimportant. "I tried to keep my hand out of their wallet" isn't an excuse.

Your behavior determines your punishment, not other players' behavior. It does not matter if someone's playing poorly, doing bad, making bad decisions, or whatever else they're doing - you do not get the ability to insult/flame/blame them. Period. Full stop.

You did flame.

You harassed someone asking for reports. Your actions meet the definition of harassment - unwanted behavior that creates a negative environment for others. It doesn't matter what they did or if you think they "deserved it" - it's harassment, period.

You are not the judge or jury. You don't get to determine who "deserves" to be flamed/blamed/harassed. That is not your authority.

You are being explained the rules and seem to have no desire to accept that what you did violates the rules. Please keep in mind if you misbehave after your 14 day ban the next punishment WILL be a permanent suspension.

You are free to report them.

There is no need for you to harass them by calling for reports, because more reports do not matter.

im pretty sure reports matter...cause nobody i report ever gets banned when i play alone, but in normals with my friends a lot of them get banned, so i guess that i will trust my own statistics on this one

reports matter. The number of reports however doesn't

9 reports have the same value as 1 report. riot doesn't care how many people report you in a game. they only care if you broke the rules or not. had you bothered to actually read the rules you'd know this for yourself

cause nobody i report ever gets banned when i play alone

you don't always get notified when a report has a punishment as a result. this is intentional so that people can't reverse engineer what words are disallowed and have an easyer time to dodge punishments while still being toxic.

i remember hearing at one point that the probability to get notified is in the area of 15%. but only riot knows for sure. and they aren't known to share these statistics

if you want to know more about how punishments work, google "riot support" and either open a ticket or browse their FAQ.

Anyone can do that.for free, be they diamond 1 or iron 4.
