I have just started playing and people´s behaviour is just atrocious.

You Will Learn·11/5/2016, 11:18:24 AM·3 votes·973 views

So far I´ve learnt a few things from those people. You should never decide where you want to go, because they will tell you it´s their "lane" and you should go and **** yourself. I've also learnt that the samurai, which I bought because the battle training gave me enough currency to buy, is a "noob champ" and I should go kill myself for using it. If anything goes wrong, it's never their fault and most people who I play with aren't new to the game. At the start of the match I even type "Hello, I wish you the best of luck. Enjoy yourselves.", but people even respond negatively towards that.

Why are people making new accounts to drive people away? I am just trying to learn and understand the game, yet it's not really enjoyable due to the playerbase. Their behaviour is atrocious.

It gets worse the higher you go, don't even worry about it. Every time you see that one off nice person, add them and play with them. Making friends is fairly easy, and if someone flames you and is telling you something, take their advice, tell them thank you at end game screen. If they apologize for flaming, they weren't really as bad as you thought, just frustrated. Add them and play with them, they'll probably teach you some new things too.

Sorry to hear about your bas experience..

People down own lanes, but that's blind pick for you.. You need to get the champions required for draft pick. Its a much less toxic environment.

Yi or yasuo are the champions that come to mind.

Yi I admit is easier but that's what's perfect about him for you. Had a good champion to relearn the game on.

If you are playing in low level pvp. Yes its he'll many people who get banned try to make new accounts to keep playing. Then you got smurfs. Scripters, bots. And genuine new players.

It gets slightly better at 30. You just need to find good friends. :)

This is, unfortunately, the League of Legends "community." It is also, unfortunately, unavoidable. This game has one of the worst new player experiences I have ever encountered, along with an extremely steep learning curve, with 665 champion abilities you have to memorize, plus all of the mechanics you need to learn to even stay alive. Even worse, I have seen very little effort from Riot to improve the new player experience.

When you try to report these toxic people, nothing will happen to them, and the system will see the amount of reports you do and reduce your report weight to zero.

I have anxiety, depression, and a thin skin. It still amazes me to this day that I actually made it to level 30.

(If you couldn't tell, I'm a pessimist.)

Master Yi is a great first champion to pick up, you can definitely clean up for a long time with him and it'll give you some assassin skills.

Lane calling IS important. It's a cornerstone of the 5-man strategy for the map. I'd get pretty pissed if somebody tried to "steal" my lane. Do yourself and your teammates a favor, and learn which of your champs are effective in various lanes/roles, then call lanes accordingly.

Otherwise, yeah, I sympathize. Low-level League is a combination of internet anonymity and being on a low-level account in a free game, which leads to people being real dicks. All I can recommend is to do some out-of-game work to improve yourself (youtube videos, read guides) in order to avoid being berated for your performance, learn to ignore people who are rude while in the wrong, and get to level 30 ASAP. Level 30 still has toxicity, but people are more worried about losing their max-level accounts.

Nobody wants a new player yasuo on their team. Try malphite or taric

Don't type hello have a good game that's toxic.

You are wrong, the tribunal has banned people for years now, the community is fixed. Especially when everyone threatens everyone with reports, its a great system.

It works because riot is attempting to be everyones mother and tell them how to behave. It's like when your baker gives you career advice, so great.

New to the game can be just horrific. There are some people that think you should be an LCS pro after a game. Add me and I'll try to help you.

Specifically though, until level 18 you're at a horrible disadvantage without a keystone, doubly so in the jungle. There's a ton to the game you're probably str8 up missing but it's ok. Just do your best and ask for help.

tis a free to play game, so alot of people whom are toxic and got 14-day bans / permabans start a new account and play from scratch.

low level toxicity is one of the worst pockets you can get for toxicity (other than low plat and low diamond).

When they call you using a noob champ, they just don't know how to fight you back, thus can only call you names for it to try to get you to tilt and not perform as well. you should take that as a compliment.
