Getting reporting for having a bad game

You know how some people just have one of those games where its just a bad game? Well I have had two of those back to back and I come back from the end with a notification for being reported for having verbal abuse and negative attitude. I dont know what is the cause for even having that when I even said in chat that " Man im having a bad game sorry guys ill try to do better" I mean come on, this is literally my first time getting reported. I dont even know what this means.

Two things.

If you're hardly reported, nothing will happen.
If you don't harass anybody in chat and are reported for it, riot will look and see that you didn't say anything and no punishment will be given.

Many troll try to fool riot by saying they just having bad game.

Here's a tip, someone having bad game usually doesn't say so in chat.

Don't worry about it, a report doesn't count against you until Riot's system reviews the game and checks to see if there was actually anything worth reporting over. Even then they'll let you get away with some edgy stuff so long as you don't make a habit of it, because they know everyone has bad days where they play and/or behave poorly. Continue as you were good sir and ignore the people who just need to vent frustration by pressing buttons.
