But you can click the small summoner icon (champion icon) to honor one enemy player. If you misclick you can reclick once- and you have 10s to finalize it before the enemy player can see it. ♥ ♥♥♥

AceGeo1 votesI agree with you. I assumed people only ever honored enemy players when you, the player, had a lovely chat or meme-fest throughout the entire game. I've encountered some extremely funny players in the past since season 3. They usually chat with me the whole game, not just once.
Chermorg2 votesBut even if you had a memefest in all chat.. you don't know what they did in team chat. They could've been acting in all chat just to get the honors while they were hard flaming their team during the game.

Doesn't matter. If they were graceful in defeat and humble in victory, that deserves honor. Honestly, as of late it seems like my opponents are more chill than my teammates. I have gotten more constructive advice from opponents than I get from allies. I'm also a more conservative player, retreating from losing scenarios before I get killed. My opponents respect that, my teammates, well, they need soap in their mouthes.

When they tell me that we did well. Look, it's their word against a teammate's. If enough people are telling me that (s)he's toxic, I would ignore them at best, report them at worst. If they try to help me out with advice, compliment me when I kill them (or if I barely lose a duel or something), that seems honorable to me.

they are neither guilty or innocent, they exist in a quantum superposition of being both innocent and guilty until you have seen their in game chat.
