Not everyone can autofill, apparently

Yesterday a main got autofilled support. He hovered Yasuo and our ADC banned it. He got mad and banned my top lane pick instead, then locked in support and started to feed the enemy . He got 9 kills in less than 10 mins...Our mid laner and ADC got so tilted they afked, and the guy kept trolling around.

It was my very first 2vs5, obviously we lost. Today I queued up and as soon as I get in champ select, the support types in chat "Hahahaha riot you wanna autofill me?" and started to hover Yasuo. -Whoops, I got autofilled mid, can I support please?- I said He went mid, thanked me and played quite well too. But I can only imagine what would have happened if he went Support.

Some people can play all roles or at least try to do their best, picking simple champions. Some others don't even wanna bother. the moment they get autofilled they will just lose the game for everyone...

What do you guys do when you get autofilled?[sg-ahri-2]

When I get autofilled I play my one ticks for those lanes :) as a support player I rarely get filled

I queue bot and fill. I rarely get fill.

When I do get filled, I play that position. I can play all the positions.

I don't understand autofill. Players that choose to fill should be rewarded with faster queue times. Players that refuse to fill should be punished with slower queue times.

When I get autofilled, I dont bitch and complain and throw a tantrum about how if I dont get my primary/secondary role I will feed. Instead I use autofill as a chance to.....wait for it.....LEARN THE ROLE so that next time I get autofilled, I know what to do. Too many have 1 or 2 roles and wont touch any others. They are unwilling to even try. It really irritates me how lazy and entitled the league community is. Nothing but a bunch of spoiled children who see certain roles as "beneath" them.

I either go Poppy support and hope my adc is competent... or I go supportlesticks Fiddlesticks with summoner 14 and just take all kills and snowball the game out myself

I ask for a trade if I got autofilled jungle. I explain I can do it, but it's my worst role. I'll still try my best but is anyone willing to trade? Pref mid or top but I can go wherever. If no one trades, I just try my best.

I can play all roles well enough in my elo but i hate playing adc. Only cuz i have to share the lane with someones whos braindead and/or autofilled that you have to rely on to carry you out of laning phase

I've been mostly queuing fill. I played so much support in previous seasons, I needed to force myself to learn other roles and play styles.

I can fill any role except jungle. When I get jungle, I support top instead. You might think I'm being an asshole to my team, but believe me when I say that jungling would hurt my team far more.

The only role i dont feel comfortable playing is jungle, so normally I will ask nicely in chat if someone would like to switch, and if no one accepts or no one communicates by the time it is my pick i will just dodge, I dont want to be the cost of a loss for my teammates and i will take the 3 lp + low priority queue over the 20 lp loss

I cant play toplane, everytime Ive tried I've lost (post Swain rework, because I used to just play Swain top but havent touched new Swain).

I'll happily accept autofill support because I queue ADC Mid. Jungle isnt too bad, I have a few solid jungle picks I just suck terribly at jungle pathing.

Pick Sion or Quinn . Far as I know they're the only two that can be played in literally any role to some degree. Maybe Nasus E max mid?

I can play anything but ADC , but the few rare times no one wants to switch I go ADC Teemo and make my opposing laners life hell whyll also farming.

I have no "hate" for being autofilled as support since I have Thresh Nautilus for emergencies yet it's not my "prime role". Now, if I get thrown into jungle...That's a different story. I don't ask for a different role UNLESS it's a ranked game and I get thrown into autofill jungle role or ADC role, but overall I just play whatever role I've been given. It's fun to try out different champions in the jungle. Hehe. I really miss Old Urgot Jungle...

While I hate Yasuo (the champ) for life, Yasuos can support if needed.

Proper supporting is a mindset, not a play style restriction. While the champion pool of META viable supports decrease as it goes higher in the MMR, it doesn't mean that 1-tricks can't get over that hurdle. People who can utilize their champion well can play them anywhere and still be fine.

I was able to zyra jungle before she was changed in 7.24 to become even more viable in jg.
