I was banned because mid and adc continously harassed me and abused me during the game. I tried to explain my situation and why I was doing bad, completely accepting that things arent working; it happens. They constantly just kept yelling at me and making things worse until I eventually muted them. After the game I got a 14 day ban on my account. How is this possible? Why is it that you can just gang up on someone and ban their account?
System punishes based on consistency x severity. Typically, people have to be toxic for a few games before they get punished.
You were toxic and passed the toxicity threshold and got punished. If they continue to be toxic, they will be punished when they pass the threshold.
Chat logs* definitely needed.
They are not the ones on trial, you are. Yes, they tilted you into toxicity, but at the end of the day, your actions are accountable.

Remember that you are judged on YOUR words, which means it doesn't matter what they say, if you say anything back, even in retaliation, you are still punished.
It's very similar civil law. Someone kicks over your mailbox and then you go back to their house and kick over their mailbox to retaliate in equal measure. Both of you have to pay for each other's mailbox. Doesn't matter who started it. Everyone is responsible for their own actions.
No chat logs = no belief in your story.

All you will get from this is people ignoring what causes alot of chat restriction's in the first place. That is the ignorant mentality in society today so you will get nowhere. Even if you did provide logs they would rip you apart on even words that are very iffy. Society never wants to actually look into the cause and only crucify what's right in front of their faces. That's why so many fail at real life. They can never look at the big picture and maybe work together to keep this from happening in the first place.
