I keep getting 14 year old raging teammates

I'm a 24 year old college student who works full time. My day-to-day is very stressful, and in my spare time i like to relax with some LoL. I'm typically very mature when it comes to team games, and always seek to provide a proper complement to my team's picks and bans.

I know this is a widely discussed topic with zero solutions, but six games of draft in a row i've gotten insta-raged on for my picks in the lobby. It must be children who i keep getting paired with, as they ruthlessly hate on me for my picks, then feed 0/5/0 as supports in the first 4 minutes of the game while i play my role well, and maturely. Then they continue to steal farm, supporters will steal the JG buffs from the jungle, It's actually incredible that i was a primary focus of rage BEFORE they put on this sort of show. If you deviate from the meta and pick an AP champ bot to compliment your team's thoughtless composition, you will absolutely get flamed, trolled, and then fed against.

I honestly think there should be different queue types, or account verifications to prove that you're at least 16 years old. I'd rather there was an option to play with 18+, but im gonna go ahead and assume 75% of this community is under 16 based off what i've seen, and dont wanna suggest something that would dramatically lengthen queues.

If anyone wants to play, please add me on the client. I'm so sick of the bullcrap that i might quit this game forever. It's actually ridiculous that i will suffer 9/10 games if i don't have 4 other friends to queue with. It's disgusting. Even counter-strike's community isn't this awful.

This is the type of name that mature players are giving this game due to our experience within. And to be honest, we're the most likely to be trusted when telling curious gamers to stay away.

Nothing will change of course, as it never does when titles become overwhelmingly popular. The developers seek the best interest for team-queuers, as long as mom and dad feel obligated to swipe their mastercard on their overpriviledged childrens rage-toy.

I feel bad for the future of this game. Noone who decides to begin playing this season will stick around due to the hopeless community, and veteran players will slowly fall off this title more and more as the champ balances gets progressively worse until it's literally just a childrens' game.

How are you able to determine the age of these players?

Edit: And I voted "no", not because of the behavior prevalent in my games (which tend to be mild more than annoying), but because I don't have the time to queue 25 games in a row.

You're a busy college student working full time, how in the hell are you even able to think about 25 20-50min games in a row?

Man, for a guy named "fuqbouy", you sure talk a lot about how mature you are. And you make a lot of assumptions about age, in a very condescending way. I think you need to examine yourself a little more and be a bit more self critical.

What are you studying in college, OP?

The first thing I do whenever I see posts like these where a player rages on and on about how everyone else sucks and somebody (Riot) needs to fix things, is take a quick look at their profile online. I want to see what type of player they are.

Taking a look at your profile (with a name like "fuqbouy" no less), you have an average of a 10% win rate. TEN PERCENT. Statistically, either everyone in the community is working against you, or you're the common denominator. Not counting ARAMs (such as the one instance you delightfully bragged about below "Why do i keep getting paired with people like this?") more often than not you seem to feed in your games (while talking about these 0/5 14 year olds). Not only do you almost always have more deaths than kills (by a lot), but you have low assists as well. You're KDA indicates that you're either always on the losing end of fights or not helping at all, both of which are problems. You create a passive aggressive thread online to talk down all of these other so-called "raging teammates", while simultaneously calling the community disgusting. Pot meet kettle and all that.

I'm not pointing this out to insult you (even if it's a by-product). Whether you're good at the game is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. But from what I've seen in this game, it's the players who don't know what they're doing that have the biggest issues with everything. Objectively you're not very good. The fact that you have the nerve to talk about someone who is 0/5 as being a feeder when you almost never have a positive score outside of ARAM shows you're not self aware. Which suggests to me that you're probably not the greatest at evaluating situations around you either.

Just because someone disagrees with you doesn't make them a rager (you might be over estimating their level of anger or not understanding that you're making bad choices that might also be making them upset). Just because someone has a bad game doesn't make them a feeder (because if that were true, you've made a lot of people very, very fat). As well, keep in mind that League matches people based on their average performance. Since your scores are often bad, League's matchmaking has paired you with others who often perform the same. Essentially, those that you're insulting with this thread? That's how League sees you. Most importantly, just because you create a thread to talk about how everyone else is bad in the League community, that doesn't make you better than them.

If you want to play League for fun, I think you should take a cold hard look at yourself as a player before you deride others. Because your general score and attitude is extremely negative. Don't worry about others until you can fix yourself. Otherwise, maybe just stick to ARAM.

I think gold is by far the most toxic elo. Everyone in there thinks they are good, thinks their decision making is optimal, and they will rage if you ask them to do anything other than what they think. Also no one in that elo seems to know when they should fight, and when they should run. It's really appalling. It really gets on my nerves when you ping 10 times to back the fuck up and the people just sit there trying hard to fight that 2v5.

I only have ragers one in 10 games, and I'm in silver, the so called rager elo.

Dude my whole take on this is that most people that spend their free time climbing ranked, spend a lot of time on the computer.

A lot of people that spend more time sitting in their room on a computer instead of engaging in other activities are going to develop anger issues, frustration, depression, etc.

I know this, because when in high school I spent more time playing video games and crap instead of going out and making friends or engaging in other activities.

Now as I've gotten older I've learned how to balance myself out a bit, or take breaks and clear my mind.

You have a lot of people, particularly kids, who don't have a damn clue what the importance is of "clearing your mind". Mom and dad are divorced and don't spend Johnny or Bob, so Johnny and Bob are getting "raised" by the Internet. You can imagine what can unfold.

I'm the only one voting for going SoloQ 25 games in a row... so sad... SoloQ is fun for lone wolves.

I'm more open to builds than a lot of folk. Sometimes my friends don't like it and even they call it trolling even though they suck at farming/a lot of other things that put them in the same division as I am.
