Well I'm just done with this two faced report system.

Just came out of a lovely game where our support picked Mundo and as you can imagine landing phase was hell for me as a Jinx with a Mundo support. We traded we died and then I dc'ed in the midst of game. Upon reconnecting he proceeded to blame me for the lose calling himself better and the cou' de grace was when he called me a "%%%" naturally I was enraged and I told him he was being toxic and to shut up.

At the end of the game I reported his behaviour in detail and had faith that riot would enact judgement and justice but of course it turns out I'm now punished instead and unable to play the game for 2 weeks. Such a lovely system where the instigator gets off free. So much for fairness. I got a troll pick teammate, a lousy game full of people giving me grief and insults and toxicity but I get banned instead. So long League of Legends if this is the community we all want where people get away with what this munro did and I am the one getting punished.

I won't lie I get angry but I keep playing but when people insult me over and over again and get no consequences from it but I do then I lose faith in whatever judgement system this is. Since apparently he can get away with his actions and behaviours.

I dare someone to post both my logs and his and let the community decide who's in the right but of course that doesn't matter The Report system is a biased, non context focusing machine that's ruthless towards people dealing with trolls and toxic teammates who are the real cause of the rage towards this game.

Good Day League and Riot thank you for 3+ years of fun and entertainment but also thanks for letting toxic troll jerks persist and rule your game.

You are focused on one game, when you were given 4 chat logs (games) that were considered for your most recent penalty. You were given 5 chat logs in your previous penalty, and 3 in your penalty before that.

You have a history of harassing teammates. This is on you, not on someone else. Nobody else can force you to type things in chat, which is why the other players' chat doesn't matter. You are responsible for your behavior.

Feel free to post your chat logs here, and we can discuss them.

This isn't a "he was worse than me so he should be punished not I" system.

Whether or not you are punished is based purely on your own behavior, regardless of how other people were behaving. Each person has their own standing with the system as well. This other player may not have had a poor standing with the system yet, or may not have had as many poor behavior games compared to you.

Next time, mute them if you don't want to see their chat anymore. Report at the end of the game if they deserve it. Don't throw oil on the fire and make yourself guilty of poor behavior as well.

everyone is punished based on the history of their behavior.

If that was the first time he did something like that, he will certianly not be punished. However, seeing that you've gone into your 14-day ban, you definitly have a history of being toxic.

There is no way to determine where the mundo is at in terms of punishment history, but you should just focus on yourself.

As a support main, when my teammates are flaming each other I ignore what they are saying and proceed to give them kills until they either shut up and play or we lose. Not much else there is to do unless you want to become the issue. Just play the game. You win some and you are bound to lose some along the way.

naturally I was enraged and I told him he was being toxic and to shut up.

Since when does telling people to shut up get them to shut up? I don't know that I've ever seen a toxic player go "oh, you're right, I guess I am being toxic and since you told me to shut up I'll stop now". However, you can quit having to see whatever crap they're spewing in chat by muting them.

What the system judges is your behavior. "But he started it" is no excuse. You have the option to ignore players, or to mute them if what they're saying bothers you. But there's no reason to respond to negativity with more negativity. It's not going to make anything better, and only serves to make the other 3 people on your team who aren't causing problems hate both you and the Mundo.

Also, you can't say for certain that Mundo wasn't punished. Maybe shortly after that game he received a chat restriction, because he hasn't gone any higher than that in the punishment tiers yet. Unless you ask him directly, there's no way to view his account and know he's on a restriction. Or, maybe this was a one-off game and he doesn't usually cause problems, in which case he doesn't actually need a punishment yet. Remember, the punishments are issued for patterns of negativity, not usually single instances.

And on that note, also realize that your punishment isn't due to just this single game. Getting a punishment tells me that you regularly cause problems in your games. That you got a 2-week suspension tells me that this likely isn't your first time through the system, either, so you're not even learning from past punishments.

If you posted both logs id say you were both wrong.

I mean not every single fight has a right and a wrong side.
