YIKES Imaqtpie was chat banned on stream (i was watching live) about 1.2 month ago, and he got his honor2 back about 2-3 days ago (i was watching live ). and again YIKES , I was honor 0 for whole of one season, and now im still honor 0 , maybe that is just because im not streamer ? and because he is streamer he can play clash and have his honor ? can't we have a super honor level boost and we have to wait all season for one honor ?

How much games do you play a day? Hard to get honored if you dont play.

QT plays 107503 games a day. Like every day lol

It is unrelated to whether or not you stream.

It is based off your current behavior and the severity of your prior punishment.

You will progress as long as you are being neutral or positive. Even if you don’t chat in game, you will progress.

First - he probably stopped being toxic - no guarantee that you did.

Second, and far more importantly - he probably plays more games in a day than you play in a month. So his 5 weeks of playing is probably closer to 3 years of you playing, than it is to 1 year of you playing even...

Finally - because he's famous he probably got a lot of extra honors he didn't deserve / otherwise wouldn't have gotten. There were probably a decent number of challenger people who knew he had been chat banned and gave him honor to help him get back to honor 2 when they would have otherwise sent it elsewhere. At that level of play, a lot of the players know eachother pretty well.

NORMAL PEOPLE CANT LEVEL UP THEIR HONOR , DIDNT GET IT ?

Well it depends on how many times you get honored. Streamer "celebrities" get constantly honored just for being in the same game as them.

It's how the world works. Sucks but that's how it is.

There are three main reasons why:

  1. Streamers play a TON of League of Legends. It's literally their job. So they probably play more than you.
  2. People recognize streamers, and there are always those suck-ups that honor them.
  3. Excepting Tyler1 and a few others, most streamers know that they're on thin ice of losing their job when they get punished and don't say anything remotely toxic until they think they're safe again.

That's probably why he's getting honor so quickly. I seriously doubt that Riot is giving streamers a free honor level-up.

Just because you didnt receive other punishments doesnt mean you are honorable to get it back up. I can guarantee you still type shit but not enough to be suspended, if someone reports you for it, system automatically stops your honor progress. If you actually want to get your honor back, being honored by someone is not enough, you have to have a clean sheet. P.S my friend is going through the same thing, plays few games everyday, gets honored but it aint increasing. Why? Because he still rages at others in chat.

I got honor 2 back in less than 2 months.

Honor 0 lasted a single week.

SparklingLama6/10/2018, 5:15:37 PM4 votes

I noticed you have a week break between games at times. Don't need to lie about playing everyday when you don't. Playing for the last 5 days doesn't count as everyday.

1st question.

Do you play 15 games a day for 6 or 7 days like he does?

Are you getting validly reported in your games? Alot of people in high ELO are known for not reporting each other.

Then there are the standard stuff of getting Honors and getting team honor bonus.

So if you have the same parameters as QTPie, you really can't compare you to him.

Sylvester Dylone6/10/2018, 9:41:54 AM3 votes

How many games a day do you play? Plus, last season the honor system was much less rewarding.

Sir Prepuzius6/11/2018, 8:38:19 AM3 votes

YIKES you can't climb honor because you're not a positive member of the rift YIKES

Pika Fox6/11/2018, 4:09:11 PM2 votes

Its because you were still being toxic most likely. Even if youre not toxic enough to punish it slows honor gen.

Also keep in mind QT probs spends many more hours playing than you do.

Elisheva6/10/2018, 2:17:38 PM2 votes

Im toxic af and im almost h4... Do things that impress people and they will honor you :/

FOR JUSTICE6/10/2018, 5:07:56 PM2 votes

before you guys just impulse upvote this thread, just know that you regain honor by playing. qtpie plays for a LIVING, so think about how many games he's sat down and played, compared to average players like us.

Baka Red6/11/2018, 8:25:21 AM1 votes

The reason why he got back to honor 2 is most likely that he isn't toxic in game anymore. (I wasn't aware he was even punished). Being a streamer has nothing to do with that. If you want to regain your honor (and not get punished) you might want to stop being negative since negativity results in being validly reported, and that will slow down or even stop your honor progress even if you don't get punished. If you do get punished, well, it is back to honor 0 and I guess you might get a Permanent Suspension the next time.

wow the amounts of up and downvotes on this thread. clearly showing the split community opinion/knowledge

Who doesn't know Imaqtpie? He is honored every game whether he feeds or flames because he is a celebrity. So you not being honored means, because of the current state of the game, that you aren't single handily carrying the game.
