How does Riot let this go unpunished?!?!?

Had a guy today who freaked out in prematch chatbecause he didnt want Leona supp for some reason...then he said he was AFKing for the entire match. This type of toxic behavior is common in bronze, so we shrugged it off since everyone knows how OP Leona supp is when played right. So, this guy did keep his promise to AFK, as you can see from the pictures included in this thread. So I looked up her match history, and saw that it's a common occurence with this person. How the heck does Riot let this go unpunished but bans the guy who gets mad at the AFK for costing the team the loss? This is straight up evidence that the punishment system is broken and needs to be addressed. And before you ask how I know whether or not someone was punished based on reports: You get a pop-up when punishment has been taken against a toxic player thanking you for your involvement in reporting said toxic player. No pop-up came, yet it's hard to belive that I'm the only one to report this guy with his chronic toxic behavior.

What gives Riot...you just going to let this go and let players like this ruin the game and cause others to be verbally toxic out of frustration? If so, youre as much of the problem as anyone is!

BTW, we nearly won this 4v5, but 2 errors cost us :( Live and learn

I lost faith in Rito as soon as they brought on Lyte's dumbass. He's a joke and his "improvements" to the game are a joke.

All the games you posted were within 24 hours of each other. For all you know someone reported him in each game, his account went up for review and is suspended (or has had its suspension elevated due to repeat offences) which is EXACTLY how the system is supposed to work.

What people like you fail to understand is the system has a very clear, observable and consistent mode of operation that will NEVER kick in within the frame of one game, or hell even one day and your anecdotal experience within this time frame, no matter how compelling it may seem, is completely invalid in that context.

All you've managed to do is come clutter up PB&M with a thread about how you don't think the system is working when you clearly don't understand the scale it operates on. Please refrain from making more threads like this, its not helping anyone, least of which you.

I'm sorry you had a bad time, but it happens and the people that cause it frequently enough quickly find themselves minus one account for their trouble.

Cmon guys give rito the benefit of the doubt. This guy might just be having a bad game. And really, if he gets punished for trolling, his feelings might get hurt, so we should give him a pass and check those games to see if anyone said anything bad about him and punish them instead.

Jk, jk, I'm sure if you get enough upvotes someone from rito will come in and say "aktuallee i checked and this guy has "already" been given a chat restriction, so see? our system works after 7+ ruined ranked games, and you're complaining over nothing!"

The punishment for leaving is a wait timer so showing his match history with a bunch of leaves doesn't say anything about him being punished or not. I have no doubt he is in low priority queue after that many leaves. What this does demonstrate though is a need for leaver punishments to go beyond low priority queue at some point since some people simply don't care about the wait.

As long as we hasn't being what Riot considers "toxic" in chat, he won't actually be banned. Leaverbuster does not ban people, just gives low priority ques.

leavebuster is dealing with this guy. he gets a really hard punishement... 20min wait time for 5 games [slayer-jinx-wink] [slayer-jinx-wink] [slayer-jinx-wink] [slayer-jinx-wink] [slayer-jinx-wink] ik leavebuster is really hardcore punishement

You do know how hard trolling is to catch, correct? This system cannot detect new methods of AFK or trolling quickly. If we were to put this up to actual people reviewing, the orders would be backlogged.
