A Growing Problem

I understand we all have bad days and can tilt. I haven't lost faith in the league community and I'm guilty myself of raging here and there.

Frankly though, there seems to be a looot of people nowadays who get first blooded and feed the whole game (to be clear, NOT trying to win and failing, but typing, raging, blaming jungler for not ganking, etc.,)

I don't get it and it's kind of a shame. It makes ranked play pretty unpleasant.

How to fix this? Harsher punishments? shrug

Well there would be harder punishments, but, Riot doesn't understand to focus on the ones you are describing and instead tries to punish everyone who ever rages at a teammate, when 70-80% of them are raging at a feeder or troll.
