Why do higher rank players flame bronze players for, well... being bronze?

So I just had a game where almost my entire team was flaming me just because my play wasn't doing as well as I normally do. Between my Jhin getting caught repeatedly by blitzcrank hooks, shaco getting deleted trying to gank, and top and mid both not doing well, suddenly everyone but my midlaner start piling onto me about how im the one that's playing terribly.Sure, I'm not saying I did perfectly, or even well, but I dont understand what makes a gold and a plat player feel like it's okay for them to trash on a bronze teammate just because they're bronze

I get paired up with a lot of golds, some plats, and even the occasional diamonds in matchmaking, despite the fact that I'm bronze since I started playing at the end of2015, and every game it's always just hoping I do well enough that said high elo players dont start flaming me for living up to their expectations, ones that I probably can't meet, since I'm bronze. So I end up in games where a silver, gold, and a plat are flaming a bronze and telling them to uninstall. This is endlessly frustrating and can make normals feel unplayable sometimes because it's how it is almost every game

Higher players flame lower players mainly because its more of an ego personality.

I usually don't have any issues with higher elos and usually when I do, I don't care and mute/report after, because if they flame you one game, do you think they wouldn't flame someone else in a new game?

Also usually when they flame, there is usually some thing behind it leading to it, massive loss streak leading to tilt or he might just do that when his team is falling behind.

Remember "Players play worse when you flame them for them mistakes" the one riot tip that I really respect.

Ranked is consider just too competitive for me i can't deal with most strangers who are just not up to par with myself. i'm not saying I'm perfect, i just love strategic plays & saving people, that's why i continue to play league of legends, if i end up dying in one of my plans and my teammates(strangers) successfully did it, than idc if i died, tho if my teammates(strangers) didn't follow up, yea i will be disappointment because i acknowledge to them what i'm about do to, but most of the time it backfires because a teammate (stranger) dives in too early. So yea team efficiency plays a part in a positive way of wining.

It's ego my friend, people from my Elo (was diamond 4) currently plat 2 for season 7 Is full of people who think they can trash talk another person for being average at a video game, stats show silver mmr to be nearly 40% of the community which would make you a regular gamer in league terms which is nothing to be laughed at in my opinion. I'm the only one in my group of IRL friends to hit diamond, and multiple times at that, but I play this game for fun. I play ranked for fun and I consider myself casual gamer these days

I really don't like people who flame bronze or silver players simply for their Elo. If I had some one flaming me I'd feel more justified but I've learned to mute people real fast to avoid needless arguments, I'll just enjoy my video games my way ^_^ you should do friend, tell the next guy who flames you, I'm not the only person with rank who thinks this, it's just a freaking game lol

Lol I recently got flamed by my YASUO SUPPORT on my level 19 account. He fed like a mother fucker... like 1/14, and I was kog, also feeding, but my score was more like 12/10/something... this Yas called me newb, so I said yeah I am newb... he said learn to play, I said yeah... I am learning. Then, realizing I don't give a fuck what he thinks and that I am a newb legit trying to learn the game, he stopped typing altogether. It worked! Just admit you're a bronzie trying to learn the game. That's the problem with bronzies. Yall act like you're good when confronted by decent players.

However, for someone to insult someone for their skills at a video game, you gotta be one delusional piece of shit to actually care. Like my league skills really matter. That's why I told him I'm newb, I don't care what he thinks. This is a video game. I played so much better than yas, but idgaf. I'm not gonna argue who's playing better like a child. I was 10 years old once, I remember arguing with my brother over video games. As an adult, I would kill myself if I still sounded like that whiney little 10 year old I once was. So fuck em man. Let em act like children.. just report em after for being such a geek that they care that much about who's better at fucking league of legends. The most inconsequential skill you could have (unless you're pro level).

i'm with you man, i just got flamed real hard. its tough to jg when every lane is losing. you dont know who to prioritize so you can become indecisive. yeah it makes you feel pretty bad when they pile it on
