Forever Honor Level 1

I honestly cannot remember my last chat-restriction and I feel like I have been honor level 1 for over a year at this point with hundreds of games played. Is there any way for me to tell the last time I received a penalty? Also if you get report a lot for something that actually isnt against the rules ( I play almost exclusively off-meta supports) will that effect your honor? Because I get pointless report threats all the time and I am starting to think that might be the problem.

Riot has said that you will not gain honor levels simply by being neutral in chat, rather that you must actively show good sportsmanship and positivity with consistency.

If your pointless reports are causing light to be shone on your questionable chat usage, then that could sabotage your honor progression. Simply playing off-meta, as long as you're honestly doing your best to win, wouldn't influence your honor level. Just gotta stay positive and respectful, and you'll be honor 2 soon enough.

And it can't have been more than a year. This honor system has only been live since last summer.
