Friend invites;
Dodge lobby and take 5 min ban;
Get into lobby and cannot see chat (Bug with champ abilities covering chat);
Forced to dodge;
30 min ban?
How did I achieve Min-Max ban time?
Should there not be more of an incremental accumulation of ban time?

And dodging frequently gets you nothing good.
V The Support V1 votesThat normally works for me as well, however in this scenario it didn't. Your constructive comment is appreciated, but this was never really intended for public dispute. What happened to me happened. The main point of the concern is the 5 - 30 min jump. Thank You.

V The Support V1 votesI am in total agreement that I deserved a stronger penalty, but 5 - 30 (min-max) Does that seem fair to you? A middle point increment would of been much more appropriate don't you think? My question/qualm is more of a stance of incrementation rather than "Did I deserve this?" Maybe I should edit the post. Obviously the bug needs to be fixed, but what can be done in the mean time? Adding detection for what happened would probably be just as much if not more than just fixing it.
V The Support V1 votesThanks for your comment, and really... excellent question and good point. I am obviously slightly perturbed that it happened, but I am not demanding an immediate solution to the problem, rather hoping to ascertain some sort of understanding of why this sort of atrocity occurs.
Lyte and his team are doing great things to not only make this a better game to play, but a better community to play With. We should whole-heartedly applaud them for not only tackling such a work load, but the community backlash that they endure as well. I believe that there is a Lyte at the end of the tunnel... I was merely hoping it's wisdom would guide me. Thanks for the Comment.

I really wish they would track dodging like leaving rather than have penalties reset every day. That would go a long way for situations like this because the guy who got stuck with the 30 min penalty because of a bug would still be a chronic dodger and the reason for the long penalty would be more on his dodging history rather than just this random incident.

Also you did not dodge you quit a lobby. It is cute to call it dodge so you feel better, but people need to understand you early quit/ terminated a game cause you were not happy.
V The Support V1 votesWhile I understand where you are coming from, this was not the case. The Glitch/Bug that covered the champ select prevented me from making a pick decision. I agree that I did "Choose" to dodge that Q because I wouldn't want to hold a team hostage/ Screw them over with an uninformed pick (Since it was my Friend that invited me). My misunderstanding stems from the fact that I went 5 min - 30 min. Thanks for the constructive comment.

actually it forces you to dodge if its a black screen cause you cant select a champion. It happens once in a while.
