How do you increase honor

I don't say much in chat, positive or negative. Really just game information (go drag, go baron, lane mia, care here.etc) and gg wp at the end. I play about 10x more than my friend and he's higher honor level than me. Is it because I play a lot of premade games with friends?

If it means anything, when playing with randoms I get at least one honor in about 65/70% of my rift games, and at least one, very often 3 or 4 honors in all my aram games. (I wont get a honor in aram about 1 outta 15 games, when playing with no premade teammates)

Just feel im progressing in honor level incredibly slowly. Thanks for insight in advance

Well yeah,that's the problem,you don't say anything positive frequently. You need to be positive for your honor to increase more.

Just say positive shit in game and you'll gain more honor

I feel like that doesn't matter, honor to me at least, seems like it is solely based off if you get punished (reported a lot, chat restricted, banned...etc) and the number of honors you get and what type they are probably. I get a lot of the one on the right w/e it's called and the shotcaller one too, but never the friendly one, maybe this has a impact

The fact tho that the flamers and inters get to dictate who's honorable as well as the truly honorable people makes the honor system nothing more than a joke. You HAVE to be positive and HAVE to type to get rewards? What if I play with 4 friends in call on discord all the time then what happens? Just seems like a sham to me

Indeed. I think the honor system is shit solely because a chat restriction drops you to honor 1 or 0,regardless of the previous level.

I didn't say you have to be positive. Being positive will only increase your honor progression.if your neutral you will still progress but not as fast. And being negative will slow down your honor proggression.

I haven't found this to be true, at least in low-Gold where I live. I have had games where I go in saying to myself "im going to be sunshine and rainbows, telling people who are feeding to just shake it off, etc." And I have great interactions with teammates. But rarely does that equate to more honor than I'd get normally.

IMO the people who get honored are the ones who play exceptionally well. Attitude doesn't matter (unless you're toxic). If you're silent all game and go 18-2-5 in a win, you will get 3-4 honors.

wait are you fucking serious? I wasn't gaining honour because I didn't use the chat system? But, by not using it is the only way that I can remain unbanned :(

in case you didn't know, honor from premades has a much lower value than that coming from non premades

TY, but yes I know this. We don't even honor each other really, usually honor the random(s) in our games

Honestly, I've found that humor and heavy carry games get you the most honor. Positivity is kinda hit or miss, IMHO.

Agree with this last year, but for me doesn't seem to be the case this season. I got 3/4 honors in a lot of ranked games in high plat last year and got honor level 5 before most other players. This year, still getting quite a few games with MVP in honor but doesn't seem like it's moving me anywhere

It was much harder this year to get honor 5 for me. Much much harder. I dunno buddy, good luck. Hope you get it before the season out. How close are you?

Thanks man, hold onto your honor lvl and grats on getting 5. I'm far from, probably cause I wasn't playing the game from February - August. I am hardstuck honor level 3
