The new champion select

I am honestly tired of this new champion select, sure, its a great addition to league, but it feels forced on to you, so many times I have to deal with people grieving because they don't get the champions or roles they don't want.

Right now, I am in champion select and I am last pick wanting to go jhin mid, but I was last pick, me, playing with my girlfriend, are a pre-made of two usually, and I ran into another pre-made of two people, one of them wanting to go Jhin bot, so my girlfriend offered to lock in jhin and trade me it, so they ban Jhin, because if they can't have it, then no one can, I have run into this so many times.

It is quite annoying, people grieving in normal games like that, I just want to play the new champion, but I am finding it rather hard too, as people like this exist, plagued with grieve and salt.

I'm not someone who complains if it happens occasionally, but I find this happening, and not just with Jhin, constantly, I love the new champion select, definitely flawed, but going the right direction, but I just want teambuilder back, sure, I could see why riot would consider removing teambuilder, as the new champion select integrated some of the aspects and philosphy of the teambuilder, but it's not the same, you're not garunteed your role, and there arent as many griefers.

I do have pictures of the chat, but I heard theres a rule where you shouldn't/cant show other summoners names, and I am quite frankly, too lazy to cross them out. So here is my meaningless ramble about this.
