Regardling the lore for many champions.

I am a huge lore-freak for a bunch of games, I spend hours upon hours reading countless paragraphs, articles, and theories regarding lore, I just love the idea that a whole new planet was created, and there's so much history, rich with stories and events happening in lore.

I think my favorite part of lore in league of legends is the tension between Demacia and Noxus and all of that stuff, and all of the awesome theories behind it, like how Jarvan IV is secretly LeBlanc.

And the lore behind the champions in Noxus and Demacia. An example is Talon, where he grew up as a street kid relied on stealing to survive the brutal streets of Noxus, and that Talon was so deadly that Noxus sent assassins after Talon, just for him to kill them, and how De'cateu (( however you spell the name )) forced Talon into the Crimson elite, and how the General disapeared so Talon spends his days searching for him, where that led him to the Institute of War, and into the League of Legends, but all of that lore was removed since Riot stated that they didn't want the "League of Legends" in the lore.

Well, as of now, there are so many incompleted or 'Dead' lores because of the fact that a bunch of them were relied on the institute of war, and the league of legends. I love how Riot made the event between Twisted Fate and Graves, including all of the other Bilgewater champions, and that there's new lore that is linked to them. Same with the shadow Isles champions.

But what about all of the other champions? I am dying to read upon new lore with new champions, and the relations between them, when do you plan on doing another even related to that? Because that really interests me, as I love lore.

Additionally, I think the league community should have a word in what happens in the lore, maybe something related to the Twisted Fate, Graves, gangplank, and other bilgewater champions event, where a new chapter of the lore was released every few days, but instead of riot deciding what happens, the league community can vote upon several outcomes, and the one that has the most popularity, it happens. Just a few ideas because I really really love lore, and this game really inerests me in the fictional world of runetera.

Anyways, peace! :) [slayer-jinx-catface]

Yer right on many things you said - keeping the lore dead for many champions is not cool. All the champions still related to the IoW and many champions related to Shurima after the reworl suffer of this.

However i am totally against the community having something to say about the lore, beyond the usual feedback. Simply put, is not professional and makes the lore more similar to a game rather narrative. This does not mean the community has no impact, just that it can't be defined from a procedural pool vote.

You've pretty much hit the nail on the head with your arguments and all I can really say is; Riot knows and is working on it. In time all champions will be adjusted for this new IoWless Runeterra and their lores will be changed to accommodate for this. It's doubtful that Riot'll ever make lore something that could be "voted upon" to decide the outcome though, so don't get your hopes up about that. Events like Burning Tides though, those are definetly still in the cards.

It just annoys me that they keep changing lore........ I used to be a huge fan of league lore, but every time they change it I just feel disappointed
