15 min surrender causing people to give up even earlier??

Yesterday I had three games with some trolls. First game my mid fizz dies in 2 times in the first 5 minutes of the game, he says "FF at 15, I'm done with this game" this player started going through the jungle afk farming. Then the following game, not making this up either THE VERY NEXT GAME I get a got lane jinx who from what I remember the enemy team got two double kills on bot lane and he says "imma afk, you guys have fun. just FF at 15" player would then run into lane with the attack move until another player would come around and kill gim, rinse and repeat. another game I had played I had a jax who was flaming the whole team from the start well he failed a gank and told the whole team "you all are stupid AF and are on your own" he would go farm jungle and go to empty lanes to kill minions, if we went to the same lane as him to push objectives or for a fight he would take off to the opposite lane we were in. TODAY I just played a game where well the whole team was struggling, after going 1-5 bot lane cait says "FU%$ this I'm done ff at 15 or I afk" player dies once more "I'm afk now" he recalls and sits in spawn for the duration of game, periodically running out to poke a minion then recalls. I am starting to think that this early option surrender is giving these degenerate scum a reason to give up even earlier screwing their teams of any potential comeback. Seriously this happened 3 times yesterday and one of the games I played tonight. I was in my promos to get into silver 3 when the first troll showed his face, then had the pleasure of dealing with two more in back to back games.

And I'm not saying that these 15 minute surrender votes ever go through, they neevr do when these players call for them but I'm starting to get the feeling that when these trolls die 5 times at 8 minutes they think "oh we can surrender in 7 minutes whats the point of playing anymore" so they feed or afk even more to try to push for the vote. 2 days of dealing with this crap and I honestly have no hope that any of these 4 degenerate wastes will get any form of punishment.

for those guys, it would have been the same. But instead, replace ff@15 to ff@20.

Good Morning!

Though I think having the option to surrender at 15 could escalate a player's willingness to give up, I also think these player's behavior wouldn't necessarily change with 5 more minutes added to game time. Unfortunately it seems to me that a player's attitude in a game really forms in the first 5 to 10 minutes. Either they have a great start, an average start, or a poor start. With either of these starts, a player can either keep a positive attitude or quickly develop a very negative one.

There's not much you can do when handling negative players, but I always recommend keeping a positive attitude. Sometimes it will help, sometimes unfortunately it won't. Just know you're doing the best you can given the situation.
