Does reporting AFK-ers even do anything? Just had 4 games, all with AFK-ers

C'mon riot, what is this even???

I just played 4 dominion games, all four had AFK-ers on **my ** team. Always on my team?? I'm not condoning AFK-ing or anything but how come it just never seems to happen on the enemy side, even when during ranked???

Does reporting AFK even do anything? There's always people on the enemy team who wont report at all because they were losing really hard initially only to win because of the AFK (EVEN DURING RANKED FFS). There was even a player who was vocal about this, going as far as saying no when I asked to report the AFK-ers. Opposing players always leave immediately to re-queue and I can tell that even my own teammates didn't give a damn, evident from how their names always grey out immediately during stats screen.

Seriously, all 4 of these games my team was winning with a lead only to suddenly have a person on all 4 of these games go AFK.

Yeah, you do get punished for going afk. If you spend some time on here or Help & Support, you're bound to find a couple threads complaining about leaverbuster and technical issues. Regardless of their reason for going afk, if it's a habit, they'll be punished. Sorry to hear about your games though, afks suck.

Ive had several games where I had to be AFK

Reasons: Bad connection, someone knocked on my door got a call piss and 2 other things that happen in real life

So lets just think for a moment that 10 people must be all sitting in their chairs for more than 30 min. Isnt it highly probable to happen?

Now as a matter of fact, this problem u encounter will drecrease over time as u climb the number of games u have been playing. Is it the only piece of light Im sure i can give.

Today i played like 8-9 games, 7 of them with trash AFK`ers
