Little Help.... Whats happened in the last 36 hours???

I usually just play dominion these days as I have an infant, so committing to the longer games is tougher. But in the past 36 hours I have not been able to play a dominion game without multiple bots every game. Literally every time I queue you end up with at least 2-7 bots each game between the 2 teams. This is all of a sudden did I miss something what is going on?

And with the penalties from queue jumping... I'm not even sure if I should bother playing until whatever the hell is going on gets sorted.... anyone have any idea?

I'm sure Riot is aware of the issue... will they retract penalties if its evident the game is basically forfeit due to bots... and for those of you who haven't seen it yet it, couple tell tale signs.

In champ select... bot players will chose and auto lock virtually immediately they also always have ghost and heal as the summoner spells, also the majority of players summoner name starts with an actual name (edgar, elliot, etc) and some letters or numbers afterwards. Once the game gets started you also note that they have no keystone masteries which is the nail in the bot coffin.

After attempting a good 12 games over the past day and a half and having bots make it a futile waste of time... either cake walk win or decisive loss all dependent on which team has more bots... I'm thinking of just dusting off the old Xbox 360 and playing a game I never got around to playing and just forgetting lol for the time being.... Any one know what happened and why its all of a sudden everywhere?

Bots are annoying as hell, they dont really pop up much at all in Summoners Rift, but they are a frequent sight in less popular modes. I dont really have an answer for you, but since games are usually shorter these days, so if your really having a problem, try some good old SR 5v5. I thought Riot was cracking down on bots, but they arnt possible to totally stomp out.

I occasionally play 3v3 with my brother/friends, and I remember before there where bots literally EVERY game, now there are almost none, I guess they moved to dominion :P

I think they've been in Dominion for awhile. The last time I tried to play it, I was the only live player in the game.

Easy win, but I ended up sending a support ticket to make sure the accounts got flagged.

There's been a bunch of reports of massively increased bot presence for the past few weeks, actually. Not sure what's causing the sudden surge though.

Some people are speculating that recent changes to matchmaking are causing players to match up against pre-30s more often now. Since bots are almost all pre-30, that could explain why they seem more common.

Never played at night? Every late night game I've played is 100% bots outside my party.
