I actually haven't gotten banned this season, and I'm baffled as to why. I've been flamed and bullied up and down the Rift, and I haven't really been on my best behavior because of it. I know I can just mute them, but that doesn't change the fact that they're an irredeemable jackass, and that alone is enough to bother me. I've said some pretty nasty things just because someone else doesn't know when to keep their ego in check. Does anyone have some tips on how to keep my cool when someone else can't?

A way of not letting them getting to your head is thinking "it's just a game." Sounds too simple but think about it and how ridiculous they are for getting so angry about a video game. That should help you ignore the Trash talk more easily.

The frustration is obvious. The only thing you can do is /mute team or /mute all on the first sign of negativity. There is no a tutorial on how to remain cool, it's in human nature to react when he's being attacked, verbally or physically. The thing is, you can't reach these people, and it's internet, everyone can write what they want. Just report at the end and they will apparently receive their punishment. Speaking from experience as I was perma banned. So in this case, I was a bully and I don't do it anymore because I was punished for it. ;)

So I have problems with this too.. im prob gonna have this account perma'd soon (my main was already perma'd lmao this snowflake community) Just /mute all the moment the game starts.. or disable every chat in your settings.

What I do is write something and then think “will this help me win game?” More often I press ESC insted of ENTER.
