Now, me having a job, I only have a small portion of the day to play League on the weekdays. Initially, I was looking forward to the weekend, but today and yesterday I've seen an unbelievable amount of toxicity from players. The last game I just finished really made me question what kinds of people play this game on the weekend.
The weekends are always the worst times to play.
Kids are out of school. People are off work, all sorts of things.
Best time to play, in my opinion is late at night. You give up sleep if you really want to play, but the experience is a lot better.
Also in the morning as well.

Combine them together in the same game and you have a pretty chicken and egg toxic environment .
Keep in mind it is also a long weekend in canada and many colleges / universities are ending their spring semester, so you have more casuals and more of certain age group people that are unleashed.

Oh yeah, weekends are terribad. I mean, its kinda hard to tell the difference lately, bit it is distinctly worse on the weekends.
When I was in university I had the chance to play periodically during the day during the week. I would look forward to being able to play more on the weekend (still loving LoL back then) only to be seriously disappointed because weekend games are traaaaaash.
NEVER play ranked on your main on the weekend.
The best game play experience is when the non-casuals play, which is week days and late nights. Whenever the casuals come on, you see all types of stupid shit. No effort, no brain, nothing. At least, the tryhards have some sort of understanding and care about the game and put effort in. Kids and working adults don't really care. I've seen both those sides with personal examples.
Summmer vacation is close, wait to see the real face of kids in solo Q.

Ever since I stopped playing league as seriously, I just mute whenever someone gets brutally toxic. League is just a game tbh, no point in letting it ruin your enjoyment in life.
According to Dong Huap, about 9am - 3pm is statistically the best time to play ranked ( or League in general I guess, but as far as winning/toxicity.) Late at night is REALLY iffy, statistically and speaking from personal experience, I can either get really chill players who don't care so we might lose or get the most toxic players. However, weekends by far are usually terrible.
the weekends are the days of the casuals, and nothing good ever comes from that.
In my case all the bad players come on in the Weekends. -DONT PLAY RANK WEEKENDS (They will lose the game because of their lacking knowledge of competitive league.)
It's summer. School's out. Angsty edgy teenagers are everywhere on every map playing every champ on everyday just waiting to report anyone about anything and are more likely going to be reported for everything from harassing every player in every match to all caps-ing every racial slur.

kids and working joe casual players only have weekends and weekday evenings to play. worst times to play ranked. super late at night or early mornings or expect to lose elo and be flamed non stop. I usually play ARAM on the weekends and when i'm feeling frisky i'll jump into a ranked game but it's rare during the weekend.
I only play ARAM on the weekends if I can help it. SR you start seeing toxicity in champ select before the game has even started on the weekends. I'm too old for that crap.
