...are jerks. I promise not to be a jerk when I get high tier. Once I prove I'm Gold+, I'm helping anyone who needs help. This gaming community needs to improve. Period!

Big generalization there buddo. Gold isn't that high and you're Bronze so keep dreaming pal.

Unfortunately a lot of low tier players think they already know what's best and they just want to hear high level players confirm it. If you think high tier players are jerks because they won't help low level players then you'll eventually learn that the better you get at the game the more you'll realize how bad you are. If you want to keep getting better you have to focus on your own deficiencies. It can get pretty annoying to run into the same problems over and over with your low level friends and you'll find yourself giving the same advice over and over and it just takes a ton of time up.

Over the years I've added and lost dozens of names on my friends list just for giving adivce. Basically the most you can really tell them is that the most important things they can ever do is have perfect cs and to prioritize not-dieing over getting kills.

I'm not calling them a jerk in reference to advice. Simply trying to play with them, they look down upon other players. Many of these high level players no longer play Ranked out of fear of falling.

My post is simply this: Once I reach Gold, which will happen this season, I'm going to use the Gold status symbol to actually HELP people. Not talk trash to them and say they are in Bronze simply because "they can't carry." Many of these high level players give terrible advice. Getting lucky in placements or getting carried with terrible stats isn't justification to act holier than thou.

This is exactly the type of jerks I am referring to. Was Silver last season. Barely hanging on in Gold 5 with 0 LP. So much ego, yet my Bronze stats are better than his. Interesting.
