Riot, I want to start off with saying that your staff must be composed of a bunch of adolescence who's father/mother never even scolded them. I have put more years into this game than most, and don't let me even get started on how many people I've introduced to YOUR game. The amount of money my friends and I have supported this game with is enough to make me regret ever doing it (which I never do). For me to be banned 14 days, without first giving a chat restriction, due to simply using the term %%% (which means ---> a tiring or unwelcome task) in a NORMAL DRAFT is unacceptable. How does one have the audacity to even think this is correct punishment.

I want to know the community's stand point on this topic. I have only received one chat restriction which was 3 years ago, and have behaved since.

LOL thank you for such an inspiring comment. I'll be sure to take it to heart just like your groupies did. I'm glad to see a riot employee accept such unjust punishment. I'd assume that three years of following the rules and making an attempt to better myself, after my first chat restriction, would reset my "bad name", but I guess having one bad day out of 1,095 days is just preposterous. I would like to think that you yourself have had one bad game out of thousands, and have been toxic as well. I'd also assume that I would receive a second chat ban after a 3 year period from my first chat restriction. But I guess it is okay to just sit here, bend over and receive cruel punishment. All while you stare me right in the eyes.

If it was run of the mill flaming then yeah, you would have gotten a chat restriction. Anything that gets replaced with "%%%" on the boards though is a word Riot has no tolerance for, and will get you a 14 day ban (or permaban) for using it.

Remember, for the most part Riot never skips punishment tiers with the IFS system, so either you were so toxic you got escalated to a perma-ban, or the more likely of the two, you were inherently toxic to your teammates. This is the punishment tier system as follows;

First Offense: 10 Game Chat Restriction Second Offense: 25 Game Chat Restriction Third Offense: Two Week Suspension Fourth Offense: Permanent Suspension

This means you either were escalated, or went through a 10 game chat restriction and a 25 game chat restriction, and did not change your attitude. Keep in mind, the chat logs you posted were not appropriate, nor tolerated in the community.

As for the idea of justice; you ruined a bunch of people's game by being toxic and being extremely rude. When you play this game, you agree to the Summoners Code/ToS, which explicitly states it does not tolerate this behavior. Just keep in mind, you still have time to reform and drop punishment tiers to not be permabanned.

Like the Arbiters we assist people with information pertaining to the in-game punishment systems, counsel players on how they can improve their behavior and react in a more positive way to the negativity of others, and act as a mediator on the boards by getting in front of inappropriate or disruptive posts through visible moderation which includes locking or deleting posts and talking directly to those involved.

You know that this unfair, but are to afraid to say so. AND I know that I deserve justice. Yes I was toxic, but I should have the right to a similar verdict which has been giving in past cases. It is not justified to 14 day ban me without first giving me a chat restriction. I WANT JUSTICE, NOT CORRUPTION.

Doesn't matter. If you flame someone or be extremely toxic, the ban hammer will AND can be laid upon you. Doesn't matter if you support riot financially, it doesn't pardon you from breaking the term of use.

SO ---> I'd say the ban was justified if they find out they you WERE toxic.

To answer your poll question: Yes, under the rules set out for the game, You do deserve this. The next punishment tier after this, is a permanent ban.

I know for a FACT that other league players have only gotten a chat restriction for using the exact things I have said. You can not tell me that I deserve a 14 day ban if those individuals did not receive a similar ban themselves. Also I am shocked that you would demoralize me as you yourself are a representative of this game. You have not only disappointed me, but the community as well.

If it was just the harassment of teammates then most likely it would have been a chat restriction, but because you used racial slurs multiple times as well, that caused it to escalate the case to a 14-day ban status. Also, this isn't about other players, this is about you and you alone. Not only that but I've seen multiple cases here where the use of racial slurs caused the escalation of an account to 2-week ban status, so unless you can provide actual concrete proof of cases where people who have said the exact same thing you did only got chat restrictions I'm afraid that what you say is just simply not true. Next time just don't do or say anything that you know will just tick other people off.

First things first, I want you to show me where I made a racial slur. Where was I racist in anyway possible? Also, I have no need to provide concrete evidence when you can simply go to youtube and find a video of a player receiving a chat restriction for using an actual racial slur.

Within the first 13 lines lines of game 1 lines 7 and 11-13 are where the slurs are at.

After reviewing his chat logs it's mostly general negativity, name-calling and (in the case of game 2) spamming, so basically stuff that warrants a chat restriction. As for you I already pointed out where the slurs in your logs were (the bolded parts) so I'm not gonna discuss that again. If you wish to contest your ban then I would recommend just filing a support ticket about it as no one here on the forums has the power to lift your ban.

Also zero tolerance policy usually includes skipping punishment tiers. If you had been any worse they might have even permabanned you without warning.

You accepted the summoner's code. You should have read it and known that such behavior is not tolerated.

There's just no real slur for white people that carries the same historical weight as homophobic slurs or minority slurs. "Honky" or "Cracker" are technically insults, but they're not even remotely close to the severity of the n-word or the word OP was using in his games.

You repeatedly harassed someone with a homophobic slur. If you haven't read the forums, read the tribunal reviews, or watched any of the player behavior reviews, the community overwhelmingly has a basically zero tolerance policy for racist/sexist/homophobic/religious/prejudiced/any other kind of slur.

This is your wake up call.

Edit:

Punishments are also set on how severe your infractions are and how frequent they are. These are cumulative. You don't get free passes for being nice for a while. You will continue to get punished. There's a concept called recidivism in the punishment structure. If you are a recidivist, you repeat your offenses. Recidivists get harsher and harsher punishments each time because they don't learn their lesson from slaps on the wrist.

When I said punishments are based on frequency and severity, not just one or the other.

Your logic appears to be "1st offense is 1st level of punishment, 2nd offense 2nd level of punishment"

The actual scale is "worse of the two" kind of thing.

So offense LEVEL is taken into account in addition to how frequently you offend.

For argument sake, take this example:

Offense level 1 with Frequency level 1 = Punishment level 1

Offense level 1 with Frequency level 2 = Punishment level 2

Offense level 2 with Frequency level 1 = Punishment level 2

Offense level 3 with Frequency level 1 = Punishment level 3

Offense level 1 with Frequency level 3 = Punishment level 3

You clearly fell into one of the last two examples. Not your logic of "frequency only matters." It's just ironic that you are so sarcastic about people's intelligence.
