To everyone who has ever said that..you are wrong. It does matter, it effects my elo, and my W/L. Not only that you are wasting my time in yours.
Anyone else tired of hearing that? I end up just reporting the people for assisting enemy team.

Also the people who say that are aware of the fact that ranked and normal track MMR and W/L separately, and consider normal stats to be inconsequential because they bear no weight as far as your ranking or rewards go.

Caytheles1 votesYes it is relevant. We don't want to be in the elo where everyone thinks that normals are for not caring. We want to fight better people in order to get better for ranked. But selfish and stupid people don't take any of their games seriously to where they want to win every time. Do they say "it's just normals it doesn't do anything" yes it does. It wastes the tone of the people who want to get better just because you wanted to troll. Don't get me wrong. I troll too. But when I do it o do it with the mind set that I an going to win. Also it is just annoying when noobs say that.
Astôlfo2 votesI play Normals for fun and I'm certain most others do too. If they/I wanted a super intense competitive environment, I'd play Ranked. Normals is for testing out or learning champs or just trying unusual stuff or having fun. Sure, I still want to win, but it's not sone world-critical issue.

Keep in mind that, with this approach, your reports are basically worthless. Report weight is determined in large part due to accuracy, so the number of false positives you generate tanks the value of your reports.
Troll Armada1 votesOh, I'm well aware, that's simply the problem you have with low elo matches, most are trolls and deserve to be reported, but the system interprets these as false reports.
Mine would read:
You reported 5,694 players.
Of the 5,694 players,** 2** players have been punished, but this had NOTHING to do with your reports, which are now basically worthless.
1,000 reports involved the entire enemy team. 600 reports involved both the entire enemy team, and your own team.
Give it a rest already, you're paranoid.
This month you have been reported 30 times. Of the 30, **30 **have been labeled as false reports. Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean people aren't out to get you.
Your account is in perfect standing. CONGRATULATIONS! HOWEVER, Please stop reporting people, your reports have 0 credibility, you're basically wasting your time and ours.
This month you have left an active game 0 times. Your threat of being punished by leaverbuster is low.
Daen1 votesIt drives me crazy when people use "it's only normals" as an excuse to ruin games, though that isn't always the reasoning behind that thought process. It's very possible that a player might be testing something new in normal games and is being harassed, so that player defaults to a sort of "calm down" response.
Just a theory of mine, I suppose, but I'd say that indiscriminately reporting people for saying it might not necessarily be the most conducive approach.

We respect your value, and likewise we expect you to respect others' values. What may seem insignificant for most isn't the case for some, hence the significance of game mode has no say in most cases.
