Reform plea on old me

Barad Dur··1 votes·444 views

I was banned nearly a year ago and was just wondering if i could get my account back, i work full time now and would rather have my old account back than to start a new one and dump money into it for no reason when i have a stacked old one with lots of skins and such. Tried to reform once but i was childish in the way i tried to do it but i am better now. Hoping i can get my game on again with a new attitude :)

Sorry, even if you are deserving, enough people abused this privilege in the past that Riot stopped doing it.

Unless a mistake was made, banned accounts stay banned.

You got an account back?

No, I meant that his answer was basically exactly correct on all accounts.

What about the people who do get unbanned? I don't think it's impossible i would like an actual riot representative to tell me something

The people who get unbanned are only those who have had a ban improperly applied. No properly banned individuals get unbanned.

Alright, well I would still like someone with riot to talk to, takes ages to get anyone to reply who might actually be able to do something. I would think making billions a year they could afford to have at least a few hundred support people on hand

You can submit a ticket to Player Support. They will, however, tell you what I have told you.

Alright, didn't see you were a mod, this is very frustrating because I know back then i spent close to $300 on this account and i will never see it again because some 14 year old didn't know how to handle a curse word. Personally I don't understand how someone can have hurt feelings over text on a screen but then again I work in construction where being a male means you don't cry about everything you don't agree with, and being a female who enters that environment you understand who you are dealing with. I literally work with women tougher than kids on this game XD sad life D: thanks anyways mod!

If you decide to start a new account, take this into consideration:

You are not banned for cursing, unless you choose to use racial/homophobic slurs. You can fucking curse to hell and back in League perfectly freely. That shit is 100% acceptable.

What is not acceptable is insults, abuse, and harassment. Not because the community isn't tough, but because it's simply not as much fun to relax in an environment where people are inclined to abuse you. Go to your local Starbucks or your local diner and start cursing out the other patrons and I assure you that you will be asked to leave.

It's not about being soft -- it's about a company wanting to provide a welcoming, friendly atmosphere so that people actively want to enjoy the service they offer.

Anyway, best of luck to you, and I'm sorry I couldn't bring happier news.

Agreed! Guess I grew up a little differently than that but you are absolutely right.

I'm going to be the smart ass here 300$ those are rookie numbers Money means nothing to alot of people who play this game especially now that riot gives tons of skins away, money means even less to me in this game 1-30 buy a 30 day boost you should be 30 in 30 days and or, give yourself 48 hrs and do the two 1 day boosts and be 30 through hella quick quick games pre made 5's surrender at 15 or let the enemy steam roll down mid since a 5 man premade shouldnt be punished for throwing games

Djinn's a mod, he knows what's up.

If you literally want somebody with a red Rioter name, I'm sure you can browse the forums a bit to find a comparable answer. Or try a support ticket, and they'll tell you that way.

I don't think they stopped doing it because I remember hearing about how the infamous Tyler1 got his perma ban revoked and he is the most toxic player i have ever seen

Tyler1 getting unbanned is a bit of a misconception, for a few reasons.

  • He is not actually unbanned yet. Riot has just said they're willing to consider overturning his ban in the future if he meets proper behavioral reform guidelines.
  • He will not be getting any accounts back, since he does not have a normal ban. He has an ID ban, which means that ANY account he makes is banned ON SIGHT, whereas your ban (or any normal player's ban) is tied to just the one account. All Tyler1 would get is the ability to play League again on a normal account, like any other permanently banned player.

To by knowledge he was only banned from Twitch, which isn't Riot's platform.

ID bans and account bans are completely different things. Tyler1 didn't get any of his accounts back, and his ID ban is still in effect as well.
