About chat restrictions

Help me up with something please. I created an account in NA and I got chat restricted for 25 days for saying stuff i usually say in EU. Stuff like " stop feeding" or " stop trolling" etc. I will not talk about how fair that was or not. But i would like to talk about player attitude. In my recent games I have seen very bad players in gold elo and i mean really bad. So i have been telling them what to do in game and they consider this harassment. So every game I m getting blackmailed with reports. People saying to me " don't tell me what to do, you are harassing me i am going to report you". So i have some questions:

is there something wrong with you?
why won't you take any criticism and use it to get better? I am not trying to offend you I am trying to help you.
Don't i have any freedom to write in NA chat? Is there a list of thinks we can say so we will not get chat restricted?
Why is telling others what to do more ban-able than feeding and trolling. Is not this a toxic behavior towards me when you are denying me to have fun?

I would appreciate any help here thanks.

PS: maybe is the cultural difference, i don't really know.

HAhahah omg really? You are not even toxic. I don't know why this only happens to NA. They are a lot more sensitive if an American kid comes for only a day in Eune I swear he will delete the game.

If you want feedback on your chat restriction, you should consider making your own thread. But basically, everything up to this point was fine.

Wait what are you talking about? So his team is trying to make him mad,and lose the game and is supposed to sit back quietly and lose? As i said in another comment there is toxic behavior that we face everyday and it is not being noticed by Riot, and lead us to say what we say. So you are actually saying this: You see a man in the road hitting a dog you yell at the man to stop and how horrible he is and in the end you are the one who is getting arrested for yelling and harassing the man, while he is going away free. Hmmm.. that can not be right.

lol i have played games ranging from world of warcraft to dota 2 and there was never a problem with calling someone a kid or cry baby or even trash but only in league can you get chat restricted for a lil thing like that lol might as well remove chat from the game to be honest lol

Just because Eu is a toxic shitshow doesn't mean NA inherently has to be. "Stop feeding" and "Stop trolling" not only promotes the belief that you are right, which is probably not the case as toxic players usually aren't, it also provides no construction to your team nor does it allude to anything other than toxic intent. How do you know they're intentionally feeding? Because regardless of what you believe, when you say "feeding" that implies "intentionally" feeding. How do you know they're trolling?

That's harassment no matter how you slice it. Instead, why don't you point out the mistakes you believe their making in a positive manner? Don't say "stop feeding" say "try not to fight if you can and wait for assistance." Don't say "strop trolling" say...nothing at all. If they are trolling, just report. If they're not punished, guess you were wrong. If you're right, they WILL be punished.

It's as simple as that. You're free to constructively criticize someone. You don't have the right to be a dickbag.

Sorry dude i don't think you are right here. When i say don't feed to a 1/9 mid or 1/8 bot lane i mean stop dying all the time. It is not toxicity at all cause as I ve said before they are the toxic ones who are ruining my game and my mood with their in game behavior. But i guess to you words count more than actions and that is sad if you think about it. And no they will not be punished. One thing is for sure you can be toxic with you are actions all game you will not be baned but 1 bad word and you are 25 day chat baned. [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Sorry, but I AM right. This is something Riot has said to many people many times over. You have no argument here.

Your next offense WILL result in a 14-day suspension, so if you refuse to heed my words then enjoy your NA gaming while you can. After that is a permenant ban. GLHF!

You do not have the right to say that what their doing is toxic. Who fucking cares if people die a lot? It happens. It's called a bad game. You don't get to be toxic just because others are having a bad game. If you choose to harass someone for making mistakes, YOU ARE THE PROBLEM. Not them. Being negative does not help your team it hurts them. So be positive or else.

Dude i did not complain about NA i asked about it. Because i am not from there apparently, and i don't know your habits or culture. But you got a bit aggressive on your answers and I m really trying to learn your culture.
But if you are a good representative of your server i think you are a bit more toxic and inhospitable than you should. If you ever visited my country I would never replay to you in such manner. You should really be a bit more careful here you are trying to make a point about toxicity while being so rude and toxic yourself. Maybe the system works this way cause people like you exist.

Nah, I'm not being toxic just because you don't like how I respond. There's a difference between me being toxic and you being offended. Nobody really cares if your feelings are hurt, so long as I don't aggressively hurt them.

Signalling for bans is harassment and thereby punishable under Riot's current Summoner's Code.

Yeah... No. Disagree entirely. You also shouldn't be going after someone for joining another server when it's not their home countries server, pretty sure Rito doesn't like country on country charging. There's nothing wrong with "stop dying" or "stop feeding". "Stop dying you asshole" or "stop feeding you fucker" is something else but if you think those words are toxic then you're just soft skinned.

Yeah i know but the thing is you are getting reported for such things even though you are not trying to be mean, you are trying to be helpful. About the logs i believe that my ban now was well deserved because i was a bit off these days and i took things a bit too far for NA. But the thing is that i am facing this problem every day. People blackmailing me with bans, thinking they have power over me, and the sad thing is that they do cause Riot does not see the whole picture they care about words not general behavior. So if someone is trying to make you mad with his gameplay by not listening to your pings or by taking your farm or by feeding it is not considered toxic behavior for Riot, but call someone a feeder and you will baned for life.

Yeah you may be right here that the bosses want your money and they don't give a rat's ass. But i would like to believe that there are people working there that actually care. Maybe I am naive, but I really hope there are.
