why is riot so retarded?

ok, so i disconnect in loading during my last game and get in the game about 5 minutes late, this was my time d/c in loading in about 2-3 months, i then proceed to play the entire game without incident. Imagine my surprise when upon exiting the game, i will have to wait 20 minutes in a low priority que for my next 5 games. WTF i d/c for 5 mintues ONCE in over 50 games ( i have also NEVER afk'd in a game before), and i get put in a low priority que. Why is this even possible to happen.

It isn't a one time thing for 20 minutes because of a dodge. The time adds up. So you have done it before enough to get you to the 20 minute wait

as stated, first time in a bit over 50 games, and i have never gotten this before.

First off, your thread title is not appropriate. You cannot edit that. But I'd advise you not to post like that. It is NOT cool.

Second, yes, you may have had loading issues. It happens. But sadly, the game cannot determine whether you're having lag or if you are doing something deliberately. That's not saying that you are! Just that the game has no one of knowing one way or the other. So, it defaults to putting you in the low queue. It would do the same thing to me or any other player with the same issue.

If it keeps happening, you can do two things: first, tell you ISP that you are having connection issues. It is your ISP's responsibility that you have a smooth internet connection. Second, send in a support ticket to Riot telling them about the issue. They might be able to help. But "drop the attitude" before you do either one because no one likes being yelled at by jerks.

as stated i only d/c once every like 50 games, and can always reconnect within a few minutes. I dont understand how the program they use doesnt notice i played for the last 80% of the game and obviously didn't rage quit. as for the title, i honestly dont see how its not appropriate, riots punishment system is terrible, thus my question "why is riot so retarded" even if it offends you for w/e reason it doesnt mean its not appropriate for the situation. my intent wast for it to be cool either, it was get my point across that this post is about riots retarded punishment system that punishes you for things you cant control with absolute zero review by a human moderator.

Without knowing what the game's software considers "frequent disconnects," to me, once every fifty games is not enough to drop you in to a low queue.

Automated systems only do what they are programmed to do. They don't make judgments or observe that you were in the last 80% of the game. It saw that you were had very slow loading issues enough to put you there. Anything further will require a support ticket. No one on the forums can help.

i didnt want help, i was just venting because it baffles me that with how big of a game league is they have such a terrible system for this. The way this system works, it basically screws over anybody with a less then perfect internet connection. i also see an issue with the fact that you could get paired up with complete trolls and not be able to quit despite the fact its a toxic environment, i honest think afking shouldn't be punished if not in a ranked match.

Well your equipment is your responsibility. If you are D/Cing and its your internet, then, in Riot's eyes, that's your fault. I'm not saying that's what's best but it is the system that's in place. I find it strange that if this is your first DC, that you'd get a 20 min low priority que. Have you had other low priority ques before?

I know a Rioter has posted that it takes a lot of games to go down 1 tier of punishment for afk/dc but he or she didn't say exactly how many games.

As far as no punishment for being not in ranked, there's nothing worse than having an AFK on either side. If it's on your team you just feel useless because that's one less person you have to win. If the AFK is on the enemy team, the enemy team gives up and it is a hallow victory.
