Tyler 1 discussion open to all opinions (please don't ban or take down post)

Why's Tyler still banned? I may sound like a Tyler 1 fanboy but, he has actually changed for the better even after those 24 banned. (Please note that some of his accounts were banned just because he was indefinitely banned) Also, I would like to encourage you that do not like him to provide criticism instead of saying: "Tyler 1 fanboy he has no place in the league community LOL". Don't be toxic for disagreeing with someone's opinion. I want to see what everyone thinks of that situation (Riot, Tyler 1 fans, those that dislike Tyler etc.)

Someone who stole a car and went to jail got punished. If he'd never stolen another car again, I would have said that he was reformed. HOWEVER, If he then went on to steal another 20 cars and went to jail after each one, and THEN claimed he was reformed and wouldn't steal a car again, I'd call it horseshit.

Tyler1 is the same way. If he had claimed he was reformed after getting 1, or even 2 accounts banned, sure, I might have believed him. But to repetitively get more accounts banned, up into the double digits, AND to do it while streaming is just uncalled for and shows everyone how he truly is. He may claim reform now (or at least his rabid fan boys do), but everyone thinks it's nothing but a steaming pile of shit. He's cried wolf too many times, that there's no one left to believe him.

Why do people think he needs ANOTHER chance?? how many accounts has he had banned?? someone said 24 earlier in this thread.. does this seem like a person whom has learned their lesson?? no... i say go 1 step further and start banning his IP address from their server... its streamers like him that makes the sheep think its ok to flame and be toxic in this game.. sure he is a good player.. but we dont need his shit in this community..

Smitty Manjensen9/20/2017, 2:51:03 AM9 votes

Didn't he throw a tantrum in his last video about quitting LoL? Kinda showing us he actually didn't change, but just acted that way to get unbanned.

Fargo799/20/2017, 3:13:31 AM9 votes

sorry but i dont feel he needs "another Chance" if he has been banned 24 times already... regardless if he has reformed himself.. he burnt his bridges about 22 bans ago.. i could careless that he is entertaining.. he sets a bad example for others in the community.. if Riot unbans him it also opens the door for other players as well who are just as or even more toxic for the game to come back.. sorry i dont think he needs a 25th chance to prove his worth to the community.. he can go stream and talk his talk in CS:GO or COD..

indefinitely banned

he had like 24 chances and blew them all

I believe in a second and rarely a third but are we really going to give him a 25th chance? I hope not

Those who say he hasn't changed simply do not watch him at all. He has changed A LOT but there are still things he needs to work on. I still think he should be unbanned though. The guy got honor 5 and a lot of well known streamer/names such as Dyrus, MikeYeung, and VoyBoy have all said he's changed for the better.

I also think it's a little sick how Riot handle him. He was banned right before reaching Masters and he was banned right before reaching challenger very recently. This may be coincidence but it still leaves a bad taste in my mouth.

As a huge fan of his I would love to see him unbanned but like i said he still needs to work on some things. He did show some flashes of toxicity like spam pinging/passive aggressiveness which isn't anything crazy but I think he needs to be on his absolute best behavior before getting his ban lifted.

He had plenty of chances to reform and he threw all of them away. The worst part about him IMO isn't his individual toxicity, it's the fact that it encourages his fans and followers to be toxic as well. It's like the saying 'if you want to kill a snake you have to cut of it's head'. Not saying that he is the root of ALL toxicity, just that he is a major contributor.

Also, our society has recognized that there are some people who mess up so badly that they don't get the chance to reform: in the form of life sentences or capital punishment. Riot has the right to do similarly as they feel is necessary to try to keep their community as wholesome as possible.

Lol, this is funny. Just posted something on this and got 3 downvotes...hopefully this thread will stay alive. I, personally, am not really a "fan" of Tyler1, but I do enjoy his content. I believe he has changed quite a bit since his permabans, and I do think Riot should maybe allow him a second chance. However, if they don't, it's ultimately their decision and fine with me either way.

He's still banned because he was a toxic piece of trash who went out of his way to troll games on 15+ accounts despite numerous temp bans, warnings, and chances to redeem himself. He never improved, he always did what he had been doing on his previous accounts, and when Riot flat out nuked his ability to play the game at any point from now on he went on a psycho rampage and had his fanbase blow up Riot's messageboards demanding he be unbanned, which only made them more determined not to.

Stop supporting this annoying manchild, please. He's an idiot, an asshole, and doesn't deserve to be paid attention to, let alone be paid for being a degenerate. He's like the lowest brow entertainment imaginable, and that's taking Family Guy and Larry the Cable Guy into account. He's had numerous chances to reform and didnt do it, now he's being punished for it. If he didnt want the punishment to be permanent then he should have reformed any one of the dozen times he was told to before he got shut down forever. Good riddance to that asshole.

Automated Riven9/20/2017, 5:50:10 AM6 votes

When someone does something wrong and are extended a punishment there is no reason to ever revert the punishment. So what if tyler1 reformed. If he had done it after the other 20 something perma banns then he would still be able to play. There is no reason for riot to revert the lifetime ban because what he did was unacceptable. Welcome to life. where doing shit has consequesnses

I feel like you kind of said it yourself. He has already been given multiple chances and chose to ignore them. I will admit he seems less toxic now, but I dunno... kind of feel like he should've learned his lesson earlier

If you don't get it by now, then you will never get it.

Shroom Merchant9/20/2017, 7:35:32 AM5 votes

anothery tyler1 fanboy wanting him unbanned just checked his last stream counted like 1090 f bombs keep him in permaban prison

x Royal Solo x9/20/2017, 7:39:28 AM5 votes

I saw his stream maybe a week ago, he hasn't changed at all.

Just stop

I Main Swain9/20/2017, 4:47:24 AM4 votes

i dont care at all really, but i think they should leave it banned out of principle. a permanent ban is a permanent ban. there are many opportunities to change and warnings before the permaban comes. theres the reason its called a permanent ban and not a "until you say youre reformed" ban. they should stick to the books

Stars Shaper9/20/2017, 1:20:21 PM4 votes

My opinion is that these kind of threads shouldn't even exist.

Any1 defending him is defending a behavior that costed him several permanent bans before he got the indefinite one, a behavior that no1 in the gaming community should have, a behavior that shouldn't have followers and once identified should be banned by all team based games. He doesn't deserve any kind of visibility. threads talking about him should be insta deleted because it's like writing tons and tons of threads about any Mr X that gets permabanned and then comes ot the boards whining for his ban.

Just let it die.

Primaquarius9/20/2017, 3:10:25 AM4 votes

Tyler1 is a solid ADC when hes not going insane

But pretty much everyone is just tired of seeing these threads

MaroModo9/20/2017, 4:20:31 AM4 votes

I recently checked out a few of his videos to what the fuss is about. He is funny at times but God he can be toxic. The kicker is if he would get his shit together stop freaking out for show and promoting the behavior I would bet riot removes his indefinite ban but that would also be bad for business for him. Sooo what's more important the game he claims he loves so much or some loss in revenue

Dextix LT9/20/2017, 6:57:24 AM3 votes

20+ bans. Riot had enough and PERSONALLY permabanned him, not account, but HIM. That is it. Argument over. He has no place in league, at all. There is no need for more critisism. Someone who manages to get permabanned 20+ times does not deserve to play ANY online game EVER.

Plus, it is not about him, it is about him encouraging others to do such bullshit. Just look at this thread itself, you have fanboys that think he is some kind of hero! REALLY!

If you can't see why after reading your own sentence, Jesus would come from your front door and still wouldn't be able to help you.

Last we heard from Riot (via Phreak's stream), Tyler1 had improved, and they recognized that, but he hadn't quite improved enough at that point and there were still some accounts he was playing on where he slipped up a few times. That was a few months ago, so he might have improved more since then, but I really think that's something that needs to be determined by someone who can see all the info, not just someone with what Tyler1 chooses to share.

HalcyonDweller9/20/2017, 7:00:04 PM2 votes

Stop clogging up the boards with discussions about Tyler1. You're beating a dead horse, the topic is exhausted. And our patience is too.

We.

Don't.

Care.

Telephone Booth9/20/2017, 1:59:06 AM1 votes

Don't care. He's just a guy. He broke the rules and got perma banned. Technically, he should be able to make a new account and play, just like anyone else.

AriCei9/20/2017, 12:33:43 AM1 votes

Same reason they went off on a vendetta against Monte- they will never admit mistakes, and they want everyone to be little sheepies following all their rules. Which is fine until you have fascist rules.
